My fault that I did not ask the labor rate before I took my truck there for an estimate. I never thought they would be higher than my local Ford Dealership but they were. After the first $165 an hour Diognastic fee they wanted me to authorize two more hours to continue diagnosing my issue. I paid the $165 and left with my truck without a diagnosis. Fortunately I took it to another independent shop and for a $125 Diognastic fee I now know what needs to be fixed. Everything Automotive was highly recommended by a small shop that doesn't work on Diesel engines. I would never recommend them to someone I don't like much less a friend or neighbor.

Best mechanic ever we literally have bumper-to-bumper warranty on our truck and take it to Everything Auto instead and have them pay for it because we trust them that much.

Trevor is the best mechanic in the area! Nice waiting area. Steve at the front is very personable and friendly. Got my car taken care of the day after I brought it in. Highly recommended!

Frequently Asked Questions About Everything Automotive Repair LLC
How often should I change my oil?
Conventional oil should be changed every 3,000 miles, while synthetic oil typically lasts between 5,000 and 12,000 miles based on your specific vehicle. We recommend consulting your owner's manual for the manufacturer's recommended intervals.
How often should I have my brakes done?
Brake pads should be inspected regularly and typically need replacement every 20,000 to 30,000 miles. If you notice screeching or grinding sounds, you should have them replaced immediately, even if you haven't reached that mileage.
When should I rotate my tires?
Tire rotation should be performed every 6,000 to 8,000 miles, which is roughly every six months. This helps promote even tread wear and extends the life of your tires.
How long should a car battery last?
Most car batteries have a lifespan of 3 to 5 years. You'll want to replace your battery if you notice dimming lights or if your engine has difficulty starting.
Do I have to take my vehicle to a dealership to have warranty work done?
No, you aren't required to use a dealership for service to maintain your manufacturer warranty. Independent repair shops can handle routine maintenance, provided you retain detailed service receipts and maintenance records.
What certifications should I look for when choosing an auto mechanic?
Look for a shop with mechanics who hold certifications from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), which demonstrates their technical competence and professionalism.
Should I get an estimate before repairs begin?
Yes, you should always ask for a signed, itemized written estimate that includes parts, labor costs, and diagnostic fees before authorizing any work. Make sure the shop agrees to contact you for approval before performing any additional repairs not included in the original estimate.
OEM vs. aftermarket parts:
It's important to ask your mechanic whether they're installing Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts or aftermarket alternatives, and to confirm what warranty coverage applies to the parts being used.
What should I do when my check engine light comes on?
If the light is steady, you should schedule a diagnostic scan in the near future. If the light is flashing, pull over and stop driving right away, as this indicates a serious issue that could cause major engine damage.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes, we provide free estimates. Please note that many shops charge a diagnostic fee to scan your vehicle's onboard computer system. Be sure to ask whether this fee will be applied toward the total repair cost if you decide to proceed with the recommended service.
