I was having multiple warning lights and acceleration issues on my 2018 Honda CR-V, and she was patient, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the process. I especially want to give a huge thank you to Jaymond Lawson for going above and beyond to help diagnose and fix the issue. He took the time to explain things clearly, checked everything carefully, and helped identify that the leaking battery was likely causing the problems. After replacing the battery, all the warning lights disappeared and the car is running perfectly again. I truly appreciate the honesty, professionalism, and effort he put into helping me instead of just pushing unnecessary repairs. Excellent customer service all around!

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
