  I made a reservation well in advance because my fiancé needed to travel to Ohio to pick up his children for their annual summer visitation—the only extended time he gets to spend with them each year. Despite having a confirmed reservation, Enterprise called multiple times beforehand to confirm that we still needed the vehicle. We assured them we did. When we arrived, we were told there was no vehicle available. This wasn’t just an inconvenience. It disrupted important family plans and forced us to drive our personal Mercedes to Ohio instead, putting hundreds of unnecessary miles on it while paying for premium fuel and additional wear and tear—expenses we specifically rented a vehicle to avoid. After reading other recent Google reviews, it appears our experience may not have been an isolated incident. Several customers have described confirmed reservations not being honored and vehicles being unavailable upon arrival. A reservation should mean that a vehicle will actually be there when promised. Enterprise Holdings needs to take a serious look at how reservations are being managed. Families and travelers make plans based on those confirmations, and when they’re not honored, the consequences can be significant. I have filed a formal complaint and will be pursuing this matter further. I hope Enterprise makes meaningful changes so other customers don’t experience the same situation.

  If there was a 0 it would be my option...Just go elsewhere! Absolutely terrible service at this branch in particular, no problem with enterprise as a company but huge lack of training and experienced customer service at the Niles location.

  Niles Enterprise. Our rental was given away to someone else. We had reserved a mid size SUV a month prior. We received 3 calls from Enterprise to make sure we still needed our booking, we said yes. We arrive to pick up our rental and nothing. The lady who arrived before us was making a reservation for a mid size SUV and was given the last mid size SUV on the lot. The employee tried to convince me that I had rented a compact SUV. They said they would have another mid size SUV in 30 minutes so we waited, 15 minutes later they said that SUV was promised to someone else and that there was nothing they could do and no apology was given. They definitely lost a customer that day. I recommend AVIS in Mishawaka, they went above and beyond for us.

  Just feels racist with stuff like what you gone do with the rental om drive it lol then says I dont have insurance even doe I paid priceline for that already plus I have my on insurance then say stuff like we giving u a $50000 dollar car you will be responsible if anything happens like she cant hear anything I'm talking about niles what's wrong with this city why are some people so racist and money hungry at same time

  I contacted this location to arrange a rental for a day trip to Indianapolis, and the representative informed me that a 10:00 AM pickup was confirmed. It is worth noting that no vehicles were available at any South Bend locations, making the 30-minute detour an initial inconvenience. Upon my arrival at the parking lot, (9:58 AM) I received a call stating that no vehicles were available. The representative displayed a lack of concern regarding my frustration about the misinformation and the unnecessary travel. Consequently, I will be canceling my Emerald Club membership and discontinuing my use of Enterprise services.
