Terrible service department !!! My camper has been sitting at General RV Mount Clemens location on the lot since July 9th for a Rear Ramp Loading Door Replacement ... My camper sat for the first 3 weeks without anybody even looking at it or trying to help me with it !!! I myself had to find the manufacturer part number, I had to get the dimensions myself for my new door and I had to find a manufacturer who had it and stock !!! My camper is still sitting there not fixed and It's been a month and a half !!! The communication is absolutely terrible and I'm constantly getting different stories from different service department reps !!! The customer should never have to do the service department's job !!! No customer should ever have to be treated this way PERIOD !!! I was told last week Friday by General RV that they had already pre-ordered my door to be built from the manufacturer and that it was done and they already ordered it to be shipped to their facility ... Now days later their story has changed stating that the door will still take 2 to 4 More weeks before it's done and before it can be shipped to the Facility with no estimated time now on my part being done and delivery ... I'm constantly sick and tired of being lied to from this place 🤬

We were very disappointed to find out that the 2017 thor coach that we purchased last year, has a drivers side window that leaks when it rains. We have a extended warranty that can't help us, the window and seal has been discontinued and we are screwed. Such a expensive coach and don't have any recourse, we just have to wait for all the rain to come in and ruin the inside as it rots out. Nice going Thor.

Thay always do what is asked. We are still waiting on a part so I have it back. I didnt realize it would be there so long. I wish someone would have advised me to shut down the refrigerator as the battery was dead when I picked it up and I had to reboot the fridge.

I can’t reach anyone. I’ve tried calling 6 times and reached a human twice. They transferred me and it either loops back to the main line again or hangs up. You need to fix this! I can’t buy anything if I can’t reach anyone.

I wish I could leave no stars. When I bought my pop-up 10+ years ago I loved General RV and my experience was great. This time around however, I would NEVER recommend the.
I traded my pop up in for a small hard sided trailer. Did the walk through last fall and said in the walk through that I was putting it straight into storage for the winter and wouldn’t be using it till spring. They assured me it would take care of it and it be ready for winter storage, made me wait an hour and a half after the walkthrough to bring it around for pick up and told me again it was ready to go into winter storage.
Earlier this year I took it in for a recall and found the sink had broken due to freeze damage. They claimed winterizing it wasn’t in the work order and they weren’t responsible. I paid to fix the sink. They were supposed to replace the bunk brackets for the recall. They did two of the four and told me it was finished.
I had to take it back, waisting time and gas for them to do the other two brackets several months later after the manufacturer called me directly to inform me that the dealer did not complete the recall properly and I needed to get it back in. When the recall was finally fixed correctly, I took it in its FIRST camping trip only to find the hot water heater is leaking also due to freeze damage. I don’t even know yet what other damage.
But I have costly freeze damage on a unit I haven’t even used!!!
And of course, despite saying it was ready for winter storage 2x, they are taking NO responsibility and won’t even discuss the issue. I have attempted to contact them multiple ways, via email, customer survey, and website contact form and they won’t even respond.
This company’s integrity and honesty has gone drastically down hill. DO NOT BUY HERE or have your unit serviced by them if you want to trust the quality of the work.
