  The technician here loosened my strut to knuckle bolts and claimed I needed struts and steering knuckles when I brought my car in for tires on 9/01/2026 I am an aircraft maintenance technician, formerly an auto technician. I do most of my own vehicle maintenance except for tires, alignments and air conditioning servicing. Especially on this particular vehicle. Once the strut to knuckle bolts had been loosened the technician refused to attempt tightening them back up, setting the alignment and going on my way. So I had to drive the car home with loose bolts so I could tighten them myself. When I returned to have the alignment done. Because that now NEEDED to be done. The service was again refused. Telling me that the bolts had loosened up and I would need struts and knuckles. Unfortunately if the bolts and nuts loosened up in less than 200 miles of driving that means you need new bolts or nuts...not struts and knuckles. The story then changed to needing strut bearings. I took the car home and checked them myself. There was no play whatsoever. I then took the car to a separate belle tire where it was aligned with no issues. The specs were off mostly due to the loosened strut bolts. Now I'm out the $145 for the alignment that very likely wasn't needed initially. I know they were not loose because of other work I personally did, before a track day, and work I did after the track day inspecting my own suspension like I usually do. Inspections were performed on July 6th before the event when I installed upgraded front brakes. And on August 6th as a post event inspection to see how things had gone. As well as some other light maintenance. The car went to Woodward after that, then sat doing less than 200 miles between my inspection and getting tires installed. The struts and knuckles were installed in 2024 and have less than 10,000 miles on them. They are not leaking, they are operating perfectly fine. There is no evidence of hole elongations from loose bolts either on the bolts or on the components. The tire techs there are great. And I previously trusted this location with basically everything I can't do at home. Air conditioning, alignments and tire mounting and balancing, that sort of thing. The salespersons response to all this was "well at least we found the issue." I had inspected my suspension not 200 miles before this. There were no loose bolts before I took the car in. This is a car I regularly track and drive hard. And therefore I inspect it very thoroughly and at least every 500 miles. This was done at the store. And the response seems to indicate that this isn't the first time this has happened. I can no longer trust them to do any work on my vehicle. If they're doing this to me, they're doing this to other people. Do not take your vehicle here. Do not trust them.

  Tire was leaking so off we went to Belle Tire. They discovered the leak, made the repair and had us in and out in less than 40 minutes on a Saturday morning and it was completely FREE. I have been a customer of Belle Tire for years and have used many of their locations during those years. Everything from fixing a flat to have my windshield replaced, that's right they are MORE than merely a tire store. Thanks for the wonderful services
