  Far by one of the best businesses I have yet to enter and Shelby Township. Great customer service. Front Desk was amazing. The technician I believe his name was Kevin. He was amazing. Good job great work.

  I had a fantastic experience with Safelite today. Cody, our technician, did an absolutely incredible job replacing my windshield. He was not only highly skilled and efficient, but also extremely polite and respectful throughout the entire process. He completed the work in a very timely manner, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend requesting Cody if you need service!

  If i could give 0 Stars i would. I decided to try them again after they dropped the ball the first go round on replacing my windshield only to have it all happen again, but even more intensified this go round. I dropped my car off on a Sunday night to be fixed first thing Monday morning. When Monday morning came around I received a call saying the Glass that came in was distorted and they couldn't put it in. I thought to myself I'm shocked there wouldn't be some kind of check to ensure the Glass being sent was actually usable? I guess that is not the case there is no quality control. My car ended up sitting at Safelite for two days to then have the new windshield put in on Wednesday. To my surprise, I receive a call first thing Wednesday morning stating that the new windshield that came in is for a Subaru and not the car that I own. I thought to myself wow I'm surprised management was not involved to ensure a smooth transaction being that we've already inconvenienced me as a consumer for three days. After speaking with Jesse, who, supposedly is the manager he did everything but except responsibility of not having something in place to ensure it didn't happen twice for the same consumer rather he pointed the finger at everybody else blaming it on the supplier the distributor the dealerships everybody but their establishment. Instead of providing resolution and lining up the windshield to be installed, they did nothing and let my car sit for the entire day and then told me they didn't know if I wanted to move forward with a new windshield. As you can imagine, I was incredibly upset to that only be told I can take my car elsewhere I will never ever use this company again experience was absolutely the worst.

  This is an odd review for a few reasons. First, I've used Safelite in the past and had no problems. If I had reviewed that first time, I would have given a 4 Star review. Because of that, I made my insurance claim and scheduled Safelite again for another windshield crack. Their availability was limited and I scheduled the quickest available which was June 17th between 8am and noon. As my wife and I were anxious to get the windshield repaired for a trip up north, we felt fortunate that it would not interfere with our travels too much. I received at least 3 or 4 texts and robo-calls reminding me of my appointment. Then on the morning of the 17th, I received an actual phone call from the tech saying that he would be to my house between 10am and noon. So I waited patiently. Sometime around 12:20pm on the 17th, I received another call from the tech telling me that he was delayed at his previous job and would be a bit late. (In actuality, he was already a bit late). Around 1:30pm, I received a text from the tech telling me that he was still busy with a customer and would make it as soon as possible. I was tired of waiting so told him I would re-schedule and asked for the phone number of the shop manager. He did not provide the number but I did receive a call from the manager would apologized 15 times, asked how he could "make it right" etc... Through my frustration, I could not find a corporate phone number but did find an email address. I emailed their corporate office with my frustration. I questioned how they could hold their customers hostage and had not figured out a way to effectively schedule jobs. The SHOULD know the vehicles, the windshields, the possible issues, the vehicles that required extra time, the vehicles that required calibration, etc... Days later while up north, I did receive a phone call from their corporate office from their "FIXER". She promised to take care of me and asked me to call when I was ready to reschedule and she would see that the issue was resolved. So I called Monday morning, left a message then emailed. She phoned me Monday afternoon and said she would get me scheduled. While I was expecting a little higher priority due to their inability to have any contingencies in place for my situation. I was expecting the ability to get someone out THAT DAY or at the very least the next day in the morning. NOPE!!! Their next available was today, Wednesday (A week later) between noon and 5pm. AGAIN, I received the texts and robo call. I received a phone call from the tech this morning telling me he would be here between noon and 5pm. I guess that THIS is what Safelite considers priority scheduling??? I am still waiting and will continue this review when the tech finally shows up and actually does the work. STAND BY!!! Well...he showed up and took about an hour to replace the windshield. It looks good. However, he did not replace/reuse the windshield molding around the windshield. The gap is very noticeable. Researching online, Safelite is supposed to replace the molding, but he said there was no molding and it was located under the glass. HMMMM...a molding located under the glass? If water and debris accumulate in this gap, I will be contacting Safelite AGAIN. Overall, happy I have the cracked windshield replaced. NEXT time, I will go to my local repair/body shop. My one star seems about right.
