- DEdave elliott4 days ago2.0i have been going to valvoline for 10+ years for oil changes...first in Vegas and now in Livonia MI when we moved here - always been AWESOME...until today. Normally they check everything and let me know what is happening - today they rushed me in and out without looking at my lights or my filters. when I was done they handed me a list of things I should get done without explaining anything. I asked for a receipt - they said it is emailed. I asked for a printed one which they did give. On there was a note SEVERE ENGINE LEAK. No one told me of this -- if severe is my car going to die on the road? I come to professionals to give advice - I asked about this and the Asst Mgr said "they should have told you - it is actually really bad - I am surprised your oil level wasn't low. " WHAT? And to suggest filters but usually they show me ... not this time. Asst Mgr said - "I will make this right, boss". I was thinking he would comp the visit or something. Nope - he handed me a coupon for my next visit. The same coupon i get in emails that i had just used.... didn't make anything right -- I will not return if this is how the service is now.
