I stopped at Uncle Ed’s in Livonia , spontaneously, as I had been procrastinating having the oil changed on my Jeep Wrangler. I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding customer service that was provided to me . I also had the air filters changed out as they were filthy upon inspection. I left feeling very confident about the maintenance on my Jeep for an affordable price . The young man in the bay was very knowledgeable and informative!! Highly recommend this place of business !

Staff takes great care of you. I went for an oil change and found out my battery was from 2022. Im not a car guy so if they never said anything some other repair shop would have eaten me alive. They are thorough and dont try to sell you on services you don't need. I have trusted them with all my cars and will continue to do so.
Ok I'll gave yall praise but i also have to give a little criticism. I popped my hood to go recharge my a/c and a friend brought to my attention that i had no Engine coolant. This is after I just came from the shoppe not 3 days ago. If I ask for full service and pay for full service, I expect full service because of that I had to go spend more money and add the coolant myself which would've been fine if I hadn't paid Uncle Ed's. 1st time being disappointed with my service.

Came in for a routine oil change. My access cover was not properly put back on after the oil change, and resulted in damage to the part that needed to be replaced.
I took the part to Uncle Ed's to show proof of damage. It took over a month for them to approve the refund for the damaged part (not expensive, a less than $70 fix). During this time, the shop was impossible to contact regarding updates on the replacement part. Whenever I called multiple times a day, all calls were unanswered. I eventually had a friend call and they answered on the first ring.
Whenever I was able to get ahold of the shop, their store manager was very professional to work with, and understanding of my frustration. Their senior/regional leadership clearly dragged their feet in fixing this issue.
Was not worth the headache dealing with Uncle Ed's Oil Shop. I understand things happen, but the process for fixing a cheap and inconsequential part to my car was an unbearably difficult process.
