The first person said the install was a little too intense for them to do ( I completely understood that). Later, I went to purchase the battery and Tony happened to be working. He asked me if the vehicle was here, I said no due to my conversation earlier on the phone. Tony said if we could bring the car up to the store he would replace it. Tony went above and beyond for me and my partner and we are super thankful for that. 10/10 would recommend.

Helpful without being pushy, quiet when I say I'm good, right there when I ask, and knowledgeable without being a pain in the ass. They have everything the bigger stores have without the surly attitude like I'm bothering them by asking a question (looking at you autozone on Eight Mile).

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
