I had a flat tire and needed an oil change the two young men that helped me were great. Very helpful and knowledgeable.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. Both my husband and I bought tires from the Lapeer shop with a lifetime free tire rotation. I had the guy tell me my tires didn't need a rotation, I told him It was over 5,000 miles since my last rotation. Again he said I don't need it. I told him I can't go home and tell my husband the mechanic said my $1,000. Tires didn't need rotating. Rudely he agreed to rotate my tires. He took my vehicle into the port for an hour, came back, gave me the keys and said your all set. The following day I had an appointment for an oil change with the dealership. The dealership said the only problem we see it a bad sensor on the front left. Which i knew that sensor on the front left tire was bad. If my tires were rotated, that sensor should have been on the left rear. Kan Rock did not rotate my tires even tho they had my vehicle in the port for an hour. Twice, my husband brought his car in for a rotation the first time he realized his rear tire had marks on it that were in the same place when he got home, no rotation. A couple days ago he marked one of his tires with a marker, and sure enough the tires did not get rotated. My husband has had his oil changed every month or at least every other month for many years, at least ten, because he puts a lot of miles on his car back and forth to work. Needless to say my husband went to Walmart for 20 bucks and had his tires rotated there. After a decade of issues with them we are done! The service is always shady and they blatantly lie to people all the time. Bye Kan Rock!

Called at 5:05 to make an appointment, appointment set for 6 pm, pulled up at 5:35 and the whole building is locked and closed
This will be my last time visiting Lapeer location. It started out to be something very simple. I had a very slow leak on a tire on my van. I went there because I didn't have a spare. *long story*. I told the manager that the leak was on the driver's side rear. Within 10 minutes they called me out to look at something. They had the tire off of the van and water was sprayed on it to point out to me a couple of tiny holes in the tread that was making bubbles through the water and also had a crack between the treads. Like I said, I didn't have a spare and was wondering what to do, so I asked if they had used tires because I was planning on getting rid of the van later. I was told no as they couldn't guarantee those and he added that it was against the law. I had never heard of this "law" in Michigan as I have seen small tire shops with signs selling used tires. So either there is a law like that or he knew that I couldn't go anywhere unless I bought a new tire. I told him to give me the cheapest tire he had and without asking him, I ended up paying $160.
Now here is where it starts to get interesting... After leaving their place, I had to stop at a store just up the road. Guess what? When I got out of the van, I was glanced down at the driver's side rear tire, the stinking, leaking, tire was still on the van! THE GUY CHANGED THE WRONG TIRE. Needless to say, I went directly back there and was fuming mad inside. After explaining what I found, all I got from them is what they were going to do. Get this... The manager wanted to "put the first tire they took off incorrectly, that was in bad shape and put it in place of the leaking one that I wanted fixed in the first place!" I After arguing with him because I didn't agree with his idea of doing such a dumb thing, other than con me into buying another $160 tire. Anyway, I finally convinced him of just taking the original leaking tire off and just LOOK at it to see if there was a possible small leak that might be able to be fixed. They jacked it up and didn't look at the tire but pointed out something wrong with the suspension that I don't have any clue about. And basically told me that they were not going to do anything because of it being a liability.
Now I have a $160 tire that I didn't want and STILL have a tire on the van with a slow leak.
Just being discusted with all that went on is putting it very mildy.
