  The people and service has been at its best behavior and was very quick and explained and showed things to both me and my girlfriend. Although I didn't get the chance to get everything fixed that day due to lack of funds I would highly recommend this shop.

  I took our work truck in Tuesday August 18th with the spare on it. We had 2 nails in our tire. I was told my wait time was 1.5 hours. So I went shopping while I waited. It was nearly 3.5 hrs later & no call saying it was done. So I called them. They " checked" then said "Yes its done." I went there, paid & went home. My son says to me " Why didn't they take the spare off?" I didn't look to make sure which was MY mistake. I just assumed they changed it. So the following day my husband went to take the spare off n put the " fixed" tire on it.... THEY NEVER FIXED THE TIRE!!! It still had 2 nails in it and they got paid plus all my time waiting!, So, I went there today Thursday Aug 20th at 830 am. I was assisted by the Assistant Manager who was very nice and wanted to make things right. And She gave me a refund and said they would fix it for free which I greatly appreciate. She truly was a pleasure to work with but we still needed to bring the work truck back down to get fixed AGAIN! And to boot, I found out the sales man I dealth with on Tuesday was the Store Manager😵‍💫 I do NOT recommend this location.

  I needed to get all 4 tires installed. I bought the tires at Walmart, BUT they were unable to install them! (My car was too old.) Anyway, Gills looked at the car and tires and said, yes, absolutely they could install them. This was on Saturday and they were busy, but after picking my friend up from work, we took a chance and stopped back at 4:00. Not only were they able to install the tires, but they were super nice, professional, and honest! My next tires will be from Gills- no question!

  Gills Point S Tire & Auto Service went above and beyond helping me. I had purchased a set of tires from Simple Tire. Great tires! But Simple Tire was a major pain in the butt in honoring their road hazard. It took like a week to resolve the reimbursement, but Gills Point S Tire & Auto Service patiently worked me through the long Simple Tire road hazard process. Multiple trips to the installer before Simple Tire finally approved the replacement reimbursement. Who knows how long it will take Simple Tire to cut the reimbursement check. Big hassle for a handicapped old man, but Gills Point S Tire & Auto Service was there and went above and beyond to help me! Great auto service! [Simple Tire sells great tires at great prices, but they sure dragged their feet with me in honoring their road hazard warranty!] Gills Point S Tire & Auto Service 👍👍👍👍👍

  I have purchased my tires here for years. I have always been a stickler on rotating my tires. As the owners manual states rotation should be done in a crisscross pattern. This insures a longer life for your tires. Seems simple right?? A few months ago took my car to Gills for a tire rotation. I realized they had taken my front tires and moved them straight back to the rear on the same side. I asked the gentleman there why they didn’t crisscross them. He said we don’t do it that way here. I told him the tires are going to wear out sooner than they should. There was no response. So I waited a month or two went back, asked the lady at the counter if they would please rotate my tires in a crisscross pattern. She said sure absolutely. I asked her why they didn’t rotate tires in a crisscross pattern and she replied the customer needs to ask specifically to have it done that way. Typically, I’m not a person that doesn’t trust people, but at this point, I wanted to make sure that they did as I asked, so I placed numbers on my rims with a sharpie. When they were finished, I looked at the numbers and they once again did not rotate my tires in a crisscross pattern. I thought to myself why. My three year-old nephew follows directions better than these adults. All I can say is that they’ve lost a longtime loyal customer. As the saying goes bad news always travels faster than good news.
