  Been here a handful of times and I've always been impressed by their communication and honesty. I had some complicated issues with my Mazda that took more than just switching out parts. They took the time to give me details about what was going on and potential steps instead of just "do what you want," which I've dealt with at other shops. For quality, efficient care I would 100% reccomend Holt Auto.

  Very good service. Not bad on the price. They are by appointment which I like because then I can get a quote right away and get my car done the same day. I had a wheel bearing replaced, full inspection, brake inspection, and changed out a faulty switch. Car was diagnosed and done in 1 day because they aren't hopping from car to car just to get more cars on the lift. For me personally, I need my car. I got a detailed quote texted to me. I got to pick which repairs I want and which I don't instead, then I got my car back immediately after. To me that's worth it when you got kids, and work etc.

  Great job, folks! ... Three dedicated transmission shops in the Lansing area didn't want to touch this 2013 Ford Focus ... I was getting it ready for the junkyard ... Glad that Mitchel convinced me to bring it in.

  Holt Auto Service is great! They always do a thorough job, whether an oil change, maintenance, or brake repair. And sometimes throw in a little extra! I'd snagged the right front area above the bumper of my car on the car port wall and it pulled out a bit. they pushed it back in place and stabilized it while working on other things- without charge, I hadn't even asked! Another time they replaced a rusted out clamp that had been making noise, without extra charge!
