  I own a local shop to these guys and started purchasing from them 3 years ago. We’ve bought a lot of units from these guys as a high volume shop. These guys are cheaper than buying USED low mileage transmissions. With that being said I ordered a high dollar trans from across the country for a very big race that took us 10 months to get ready for. That transmission wasn’t going to make it! I called Great Lakes and spoke to Corey and I asked for a stock 4l80 to at least get this car out to the races. He had a stage 2 performance 4l80e built in 2 days. This Transmission wasn’t meant to behind a 900hp engine unless I put billet parts it Corey said and I believe him because that’s the industry standard with that transmission in a drag race application. It went 1,400 miles and made 28 passes over the next 7 days and never missed a beat! We set a personal best right off the trailer. I’ve had one transmission warranty by these guys and they stood behind it! Buy with confidence! Great workmanship.

  Found these guys 5 yrs ago on accident when I was looking for a Used CVT so a customer could sell their jeep. I have had only ONE warranty claim out of about all units they have built for my shop. That was a CVT (Nissan can't Build it right in the first place so I give Grace to a company that Remans and betters a POS Unit.) This Warranty claim was handled with a Phone Call. Email of a couple pics and done. They sent Replacement Unit. and sent the Labor Check and Top off CVT Fluid all at the same time. Greg Kowalski G&K Auto Repair Muskegon MI.
