10/10—would absolutely recommend! Our son’s tire had been slowly leaking, but we couldn’t figure out what was causing it. We took it to Gills without an appointment, and they were able to get us in quickly. They found a nail in the tire and patched it for us. When we went to check out, we were told, “No charge today.” We never expect free service, but that simple act of kindness and excellent customer service gained them a customer for life! Thank you, Gills, for taking such great care of us. We truly appreciate it!

Brought my car in for a rotation and balance and left the place with a new vibration. Brought it back 2 days after for them to fix it, they said they fixed it but the vibration was worse. Brought it in a 3rd time to give them one last shot, they said their machines weren’t calibrated. So they finally fixed the vibration, but the tires were rotated back to their normal positions that they were in prior to the 1st time I brought them in, so it was all just a huge waste of time. 3 appointments just for my tiers to be put back in their original locations.

I took my car to Gills/Budget Tire for two years straight with a tire or two that would not hold air. I was in there every three months. I could have went in every week because that is how fast they lost air. Everytime it was the same thing. Either the rim needed to be cleaned and sealed or it was a valve stem. After two years of this, I said I need a permanent fix for this. They told me I needed new rims. I never got new rims, but I eventually did get new tires from Master Tech. Tire light never came on again. I did not need new rims. Fast forward to last week. My daughter went in with a slow leak in her tire. They told her the rim needed to be cleaned and sealed. Same thing they always told me. I told her to watch for her tire light to come back on and, sure enough, it came back on in a few days. So, she took it to Costco, and they found the tire had a small puncture. Also, Gils had rotated her tires but never reset the placement of the tires in the computer. So, the leaky tire was showing it was in the rear, but because they rotatated the tires without resetting the system, the leaky tire was actually in the front. Costco said resetting the system was standard practice that all tire shops should be doing.
