  Purchased tires through Tires Easy and this was the designated installer. First visit, there was only one tech (just a few weeks on the job) working. They were way understaffed for the number of people they were serving. I was told by the tech that she thought the tires were too large for the wheels because she couldn’t get them to seal. Said the rims were 19” even though the old tires were 20”. After waiting 3.5 hours for this, I had to reschedule for a time another (more experienced) tech was working. Came back the next week and they mounted the tires with no issues, other than it took another 2.5 hours. Tire installation should not take that long. Only 1 of the 3 tires had valve stem caps when I left so I had to buy new ones. And finally, the paperwork they gave me didn’t show what tires were installed, or mention anything about the warranty from Tires Easy. Definitely not a great experience!!!

  I’ve been going to the Jenison location for a few years. Can they be a tiny bit unorganized or unprepared occasionally? Yes… BUT, the way in which they handle it is what keeps me coming back. Their customer service is great. Everyone is friendly. They’re honest and keep it real. I was in yesterday for an oil change and tire rotation. I mentioned thinking my tires were off balance (they were) and it was handled without additional cost because I purchased my tires there. 🙌🏽 The mechanic (I believe they go by Walter?) was refreshing, funny, and honest about taking extra time to be thorough. And this was the first time I got full vehicle photos attached to my complimentary inspection report. Not going to lie, I was a little nervous at first because they didn’t seem super confident- but they absolutely did a great job from what I can tell. The gal at the front desk (I cannot remember her name) was so kind and sweet. Very soft spoken and didn’t want to say or give incorrect information. She was new and was sure to take the time to check with other staff and or her manager to confirm details. She even had a customer come in who did not speak English; she very kindly spoke with the translator (I believe husband) and handled their concerns well. Side note: Adam is a riot to talk to. He worked on my car the last time I was in and it went great. He also encourages the staff and helps walk them through steps to teach, rather than do it for them. I’m happy to be a returning customer- even if I’m there a little longer than anticipated. Appreciate not being taken advantage of as a woman, AND not being presented with a ton of sales tactics. Thanks for serving my old girl, y’all. Let’s see if we can get her to 300k miles. 😅

  My son unfortunately had to go here to get a belt replaced. The cost was over $475.00 originally. My son was able to purchase the part for less than $40 and they replaced it for a labor cost of $278.xx. My husband owns a mechanic shop and knows how long and approximately how much this service should cost. Unfortunately, with my son in college a few hours away, he was forced to go somewhere locally. Labor shows at 1.3 hours @ $168/hr = $218.40. Guess they had to increase the labor time for not getting to gouge the customer on the cost of the part. I would shop around if you can.

  I’ve brought my cars here a few times. Service has always been slow, but the front desk employee was consistently friendly (he even let me use his office once when he noticed me working in the waiting area). Unfortunately, my latest experience for a routine brake job was a complete breakdown in organization and communication. ​I dropped my vehicle off around 2:00 PM on Friday, expecting it to be ready by Saturday afternoon. After hearing nothing, I drove by Saturday night and saw my car sitting outside in the exact same spot. When I called Sunday morning, I was told there was a mix-up with my key and another customer's. While I understand mistakes happen, seems like you could have pushed a button on the key and it would have told you which car it belonged to pretty easily. ​Once work finally began, they realized I lacked the wheel lock key and asked me to bring one in, though we eventually found a workaround. Then on Monday around 4:00 PM, I received a call saying the car was ready, but that they were short-staffed and closing early at 5:00 PM. I couldn't make it in time, so I asked for their opening hours for Tuesday and was told 7:30 AM. ​It is now 8:10 AM on Tuesday morning, and no one is here to open the shop. They have held my car since Friday afternoon for a brake job.

  They are awesome, looked like they were her to help more than just business. Staff is amazing, went above and beyond to help. They do free pre-purchase inspections too.
