  My son unfortunately had to go here to get a belt replaced. The cost was over $475.00 originally. My son was able to purchase the part for less than $40 and they replaced it for a labor cost of $278.xx. My husband owns a mechanic shop and knows how long and approximately how much this service should cost. Unfortunately, with my son in college a few hours away, he was forced to go somewhere locally. Labor shows at 1.3 hours @ $168/hr = $218.40. Guess they had to increase the labor time for not getting to gouge the customer on the cost of the part. I would shop around if you can.

  I’ve brought my cars here a few times. Service has always been slow, but the front desk employee was consistently friendly (he even let me use his office once when he noticed me working in the waiting area). Unfortunately, my latest experience for a routine brake job was a complete breakdown in organization and communication. ​I dropped my vehicle off around 2:00 PM on Friday, expecting it to be ready by Saturday afternoon. After hearing nothing, I drove by Saturday night and saw my car sitting outside in the exact same spot. When I called Sunday morning, I was told there was a mix-up with my key and another customer's. While I understand mistakes happen, seems like you could have pushed a button on the key and it would have told you which car it belonged to pretty easily. ​Once work finally began, they realized I lacked the wheel lock key and asked me to bring one in, though we eventually found a workaround. Then on Monday around 4:00 PM, I received a call saying the car was ready, but that they were short-staffed and closing early at 5:00 PM. I couldn't make it in time, so I asked for their opening hours for Tuesday and was told 7:30 AM. ​It is now 8:10 AM on Tuesday morning, and no one is here to open the shop. They have held my car since Friday afternoon for a brake job.

  They are awesome, looked like they were her to help more than just business. Staff is amazing, went above and beyond to help. They do free pre-purchase inspections too.

  This was my first time at Monro Auto Service due to my car overheating. I didn't know what to expect and not being an expert at cars I was putting my car into others hands. Even though I was there for a bit the two young ladies at the counter made sure I was updated, the mechanic came out and explained in detail what he was doing and where we needed to go from there, and on top of that they found my brakes were dangerously low and they gave me a caring discount because they knew it was a longer process than expected. They treated me with care and concern, my car feels so much smoother and safer to drive, and I will absolutly go again when I need something else done with my car! Thank you!
