Sydney was incredible. She answered all my questions and was so pleasant despite the horrifically hot and humid weather. The young man who was above ground helping with the service was courteous and was happy to answer any questions I had for him. I won’t go anywhere else to get my oil changed!

I have been using this Valvoline since I moved to Holland 5 1/2 years ago. The first couple of years, I thought it was fabulous, since then I have watched it decline a little bit at a time, and it’s not at all what it used to be. The wait is always much longer than what I hope for, due to short staff or whatever it may be. I feel like It used to be such a great convenience to go on my lunch hour and be confident that I could be in and out of there during that time. That is no longer the case. There seems to be a big turnover in staff and some sort of random situation each and every time I’m there. This last time I knew going in that I had a brake light out, due to a police officer actually telling me. The guy that did the walk around, his name was Christian, went from front to back checking everything and then proceeded to tell me that everything was fine. I then had to tell him that I had actually been told by several different people that I had a brake light out, only for it then to be recognized and found. What is the point in doing the inspection if you’re not going to be thorough and actually pay attention to what you are doing. The new manager that was there, there have been several over the years that I have been going for service, was doing her very best and seemed like she is trying to turn this place around once again. However, I have gone through this before with different new managers that have came on board and it ends up going back to the same old situation. Short staffed, distracted, lengthy wait, rising prices, and just overall not very good customer service. I can’t feel confident with somebody being in charge of the oil in my engine when they aren’t even alert enough to notice a brake light out during an inspection. I will decide moving forward if I just need to find a new place to have my car serviced. The only one reason why I would consider trying it. One more time would be because the new manager was apologetic and assured me that things will be different moving forward.
