Tom was an awesome person to engage with. Within 5 mins. we were talking to each other like we have known each other for years. My father had passed away in January of 2026 and he had been driving the van since my mother passed away in May 2023. The van was purchased for her, so they could take trips with my mother being bound to a mobility cart.
I was referred to Independence Vans by my Uncle who lives in White Lake, as a dealer who may be interested in purchasing the van. Tom offered me a fair price and I know he will sell the van at a fair price for another family in need.
Tom will make you feel like family. Highly recommended; you will enjoy the experience.

In April of this year (2020) I had started looking for a wheelchair van for myself and my husband and had contacted Tom at Independence Vans first. With the problem of how little income we had it was very daunting and the probability was very low in finding one. Tom had went out of his way in trying to help us in locating one. Well in September of the same year we had gotten approved for a van and immediately went back to Independence Vans again to find one. On the first try he had just what we needed and in our price range. The van is everything we needed and then some and it was all do to how he runs his business and his expectations on how these vans needed to be in order to be of use for many different disabilities out there. I completely would recommend him and his business to anyone!
