  A&D Auto Repair Inc. clearly does not value its customers' time. They could have easily let me know in advance with just a little consideration, but instead they waited until the end of the day to call and tell me they hadn't even started the work. It just sounded like an excuse. I felt terrible at the time, but now I'm actually glad I can avoid a company like this.

  I took my vehicle to A&D Auto Repair in Haslett, Mi. to simply have tires mounted on new wheels and installed on my 2021 vehicle. Upon completion, they advised that the vehicle needed an alignment, shocks, wiper blades, a tune up, oil flushes, belts, and the list went on to include literally thousands of dollars of work, and they said there is an oil leak. I've never once had a drip of oil on my garage floor and I have an extremely clean epoxied floor so I notice that stuff. But the infuriating part is that I literally brought them my jeep the next day after getting a lift kit professionally installed from a reputable off road store. The lift kit included BRAND NEW SHOCKS and an alignment. They were trying to do a money grab and scam me! I also installed brand new wipers the week before taking my vehicle to them. Sure maybe a tune up is recommended per the manufacturer guidelines but the fact remains that they tried to get me to have work done that was 100% not needed. BAD WAY TO DO BUSINESS! THIS COMPANY HAS ZERO INTEGRITY IN MY OPINION. I wonder how many people have paid for stuff that they didn't really need.............I'm guessing a lot. Steer clear of these scammers! They tried to justify it by saying we make recommendations based on vehicle age and mileage. So, if that's the case, then they don't visually check your vehicle because if they did they would have noticed brand new shocks and wipers and whoever drove it after installing the tires wasn't capable of knowing if a vehicle needs an alignment or if it was just the crowning of the roadway that made the vehicle "pull". Incompetence at it's finest! STEER CLEAR OF A & D AUTO REPAIR IN HASLETT, MI.

  We came to A&D after falling debris from a passing trash truck badly damaged our windshield. Gwen was incredibly helpful and fast. She got me a quote, ordered the replacement, and had me in the very next day. Since we’re a single-vehicle household, she arranged for someone to drop me off at home and pick me up after. She was such a warm and joyful person to work with. I can not say enough what a pleasure it was to have Jared as my driver. I was in a bad car accident three years ago, and I get nervous when other people drive. Not only did Jared drive safely, he was wonderful to speak with to and from the shop. Jared was beyond friendly and his driving made me feel safe and reassured. People are so quick to leave bad reviews, and I seldom leave reviews at all. However, the customer service I experienced exceeded my expectations. Not to mention, my new windshield looks absolutely incredible! Thank you Gwen, Jared, and to the gentleman whose name I did not catch from the auto repair building–you walked me over to where I needed to be and were just as friendly. 10/10—I’d let another trash truck pelt my windshield just to get this service again!

  We were passing through in our RV and thought our in-cab AC was failing. Within minutes they explained to me that it was the Mercedes diesel engine that was shutting it down due to excessive heat on the interstate (it was 95). They checked all components of the AC under the hood. No charge and we were on our way! They were friendly and polite and gave me the peace of mind I needed. I highly recommend these guys!

  This is my third visit with them, and I have been pleased with my experience. Jen is super attentive about scheduling and understanding that there can be time constraints with family and other obligations. The staff in general has been very forthcoming and easy to talk to. Slightly longer wait times is the only reason I didn’t give them five stars, but I would definitely go back. Their service has been great so far.
