I’ve been coming to the Plainfield location for years. They alway have knowledgeable employees and great pricing if you get multiple services down.

The text just came through to review my current experience at Plainfield valvoline .... I responded that I did not like my experience there. The prompt then says to call or leave an email, instead of just leaving the why right there. When I was there I talked to the manager and told him Zoe was very rude and he didnt care... why would I wanna call back three days later for him still not to care hahahaha... ill stick with my og valvoline... so much for trying new places!

I went for an oil change and do realize that many cars were behind me in line, location busy. That being said the usual service I come to appreciate at Valvoline missed the mark! I had to ask about my fluids being refilled. I also had to ask about my tire check, break light check and turn signal check, are they no longer included. Staff said oh, we can check them if you like. He then took my form of payment and said they would email me the receipt and handed me the sticker for windshield. I drove off

Just had a terrible experience here unfortunately. What should be a 20 minute oil change took over an hour. The young man work broke the oil filter cap while trying to remove the filter from it. I then watched him try to install the broke filter cap back onto the car, which it wouldnt seat properly since it was broken. After seal of the staff fiddled with the broken cap to see if they could get it to hold together well enough to shove back on the car, they finally came and talked to me saying the piece just "exploded" when they took it off. No they pulled the filter out incorrect breaking the piece that holds the oild filter in place. They ended up running to the store to get a new cap and began to compete the oil change and while filling up my car, the same young man dropped the funnel spilling oil all over my engine bay. Took a few seconds to wipe with a paper towel and then I was finally able to leave. My cars engine bay is now an absolute mess and smoke while being driven due to the burning oil. If you dont know what your doing on a car, just turn the job down instead of doing a hack job like this.
