  Place will straight up lie to get you out the door . Bought a brand new camper with a 7 year roof warranty and was told to bring it in every year for inspection or warranty reasons we get there and the service guy doesnt have a clue what were talking about even though it was planned to bring it in and to top that off he tells us there's no such thing as a roof warranty. We'll why did I pay for something thats not even real or even bring it in for that matter if I have to pay for an inspection that was supposed to be included which is what the sales women told us. We'll there was some things that needed fixed and the guy wanted more time then one week to get parts etc. And told him we need it buy that second weekend. My wife gets a voicemail asking if we wanted to upgrade. My wife calls to check on the camper since we were suppose to pick it up this coming Saturday and the parts are not in and nothing has been fixed and the service guy didnt even call us to tell us this. We had to go out of our way just to get a no its not gonna be done when yhe service guy promised us it would be done and mind you we live 2 hours away and it takes 200 in gas round trip and cant keep blowing this money on there mistakes. They wont even work with us or compensate us for their mistakes. I regret buying my camper through these guys and I dont recommend them cause they will sell you lies. Like a auto trailer brake kit for a truck I already had trailer brakes on and told them I didnt need it just to find it on my receipt months later. This place is the quick lube camper seller who will sell you something you didnt even ask for or gave permission Stay away please for your own sake

  Do not buy your camper from camper world!! Especially the Grand Rapids location! I bought my camper there a year ago a (Last August) and was told at the time of sale to make sure I call this July (which I did) to get it into the service department for a full roof inspection and anything and everything I find on the camper to get fixed. Well I called and made the appointment to get in to get my roof inspected because at the time of purchase I bought a 7-year warranty package on my roof was what I was told. Well anyway I brought it in the first week of August to my scheduled appointment that I made in July and when I got there they had no idea why I even brought my camper there to begin with and then they go on to say I have no sort of warranty on the roof and that the information I was given was inaccurate. At the time of drop off they promised my camper back in 2 weeks with minor fixes that needed to go through the manufacturer warranty and I was just told this will be weeks longer. They will offer no compensation for me when I need to go back and pick up the camper and I live 2 hours away and now I will have to go back and drop it off and go back and pick it up again and it's $150 per round trip for gas every single time I have to do this. They always State they will promise this and promise that and break their promise every single time. And not to mention all of the Hidden fees when you go to sign your paperwork at the time of purchasing your camper ....you purchase a $12,000 camper (great deal on sale...NOT!) and it ends up being $22000+... fright fees and every other type of fee that they don't disclose at the time you are negotiating and looking at the camper. Make sure you pick a camper lot that doesn't have all of these fees because I feel totally ripped off and totally lied to by Camper World in so many aspects it's unreal the service department the sales people the loan paperwork specialist they all lie to you. DONT DO IT!!

  Just bought our first motorhome and although things did not go well at all due to us finding The camper we wanted at Utah camping World and having it shipped. Let’s just say NEVER deal with Utah camping world. But camping world in grand rapids MI was great! Our salesman Shawn was great and had the best personality and communication and he was the reason we didn’t give up. After we got it, we did have some issues with the motorhome and the service department handled everything complementary! I totally did not expect them to replace things as we did buy it used. But they replaced multiple things to make sure we were happy and had the best experience. Chasity in service was excellent!

  Our salesman, Phil was and absolute pleasure. He was responsive to what we wanted to see, and very knowledgeable with the merchandise. He created an environment that was not intimidating, relaxed, FUN, and all around top notch service oriented. Our finance guy, last name Roof (first name Collin perhaps) was also spectacular. He found the warranty I wanted, bundled with additional coverage, and all at a price point that I was able to see value in. I will say, as a loan officer and office manager myself in the credit union world, I was absolutely impressed with the joy the team found in their roles including the manager who popped in for a moment. I appreciate a team that is knowledgeable, helpful, fun, and charismatic. The Grand Rapids Camping World has my business now and in the future, and I will be someone who will recommend this store. Great work to this team.

  My wife, baby, grandma and I drove an hour today to come look at a camper after having scheduled an appointment. When we arrived and met the salesman, Jon, he was immediately disrespectful towards us. He drove us out to the camper, opened it up, and left saying he was busy and had something else to do. When he came back we showed him some water we found inside the camper and he immediately jumped to conclusions saying that it was only there because of something we had done. That didn’t explain the mold that had formed where the water was found, but he was insistent that it was our fault. When we asked if we could take a look at the seal outside he told us that we could not because it would be inconvenient for him. When we had asked a few other questions he was disrespectful and treated us like idiots for asking questions about a camper we wanted to purchase. The rest of the staff seemed friendly, but would not recommend working with Jon.
