The first time was for a simple wiper blade purchase. The employee that helped me was great. For such a simple routine purchase, I would expect to just be in and out with very little thought. However, the lady that helped me was awesome. She had so much positive energy that I left smiling. The interaction made my day. Two years later I come back to have a battery checked and its the same lady, with the same fantastic attitude. I made sure to get her name so I can write this review. Sarah is great asset for this location. She knows her stuff, and she provides extremely good customer service.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
