  Needed an emergency repair on July 4th weekend and not only were they open, but they had me in, fully repaired, and on my way in no time. Expert technicians at the counter and in the garage. It’s a family owed business that cares about the customer and does good, honest, fast, and reliable service.

  I couldn't ask for a better experience. The mechanic, David, is very knowledgeable, courteous, thorough and respectful. I feel that he treated my truck like he would his own. Very reasonable pricing too. I will continue to take my business to this location. Couldn't have been better!

  I don’t leave many reviews but I had to in this situation. My Jeep’s back passenger tire was completely out of air, I thought maybe there is a leak. I went to Tuffy to plug it but unfortunately, there was no repairing it. I would have to replace the tire, but the recommendation was all the tires were in need of replacement. This I already knew but wasn’t prepared to pay for yet. I told Nick (the guy at the front desk who handles appointments for repair, etc) I didn’t want to make a decision without my husband but if he could please put air in the tire so I could drive it home. He said he didn’t feel comfortable with me driving on that tire even with air in it but he’ll have one of his guys put my spare on for no charge. I WAS IN SHOCK!!! Rarely do we encounter generosity or doing something for someone for nothing. Even the young guy who had to do the work himself was happy to do it! I was very impressed by Nick and his team. They didn’t have to do it. they went above and beyond for me and my safety. I am grateful to him for that even though they were busy with customers!! Nick’s price are fair, time frame for repair was very accommodating, and the products are fantastic! Thank you Nick, and the sweet guy who replaced the flat with the spare, and the entire Tuffy crew! That team at Grand River and Halsted is phenomenal. And Nick is definitely an asset to that company.

  I've used Tuffy Tire and Auto Service for several of my vehicles, and every time they do a great job. They're family owned and operated, and it shows in how they treat customers. Excellent service you can genuinely trust. It's hard to find a shop that's honest and reliable these days, but Tuffy has earned my repeat business every time. Highly recommend.

  I took my car to this location for tire service just before closing. Unfortunately, they did not have the tire I needed in stock, but instead of turning me away, they went above and beyond to help. They offered to keep my vehicle overnight, order the tire, and even was prepared to have everything ready the next morning so I could still make it to work on time. Nick was outstanding from the moment I arrived. Since I was visiting from Chicago and unfamiliar with the area, he took the time to walk me through the entire process, thoroughly inspect my vehicle, explain exactly what was wrong with my tire, and even assist me with my warranty coverage. His customer service was truly top-tier. After a stressful day, I was grateful to encounter someone so knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely willing to help. Nick exceeded my expectations and made what could have been a frustrating situation a very positive experience. Thank you, Nick, for all of your assistance. Thanks to your help, I was able to have my tire replaced under warranty at no cost to me. I truly appreciate the exceptional service!
