  Recently, I purchased a certified pre-owned Volvo XC40 Plus from Farmington Hills Volvo, largely thanks to Joe Pope’s professionalism and expertise. Joe knows the vehicle extremely well and took the time to explain everything to us in great detail, both before and after the test drive. His knowledge and helpfulness exceeded those of everyone else we encountered during our car-shopping process—and, of course, all of the AI/search results we consulted! We were relatively happy with a slightly lower-end Volvo at another dealership, but ultimately decided to purchase this one from Joe. On the delivery day, Joe was incredibly patient with all of our many questions. He made sure we were well informed and made us feel respected throughout the process. The other staff members at the Farmington Hills Volvo dealership were also friendly and a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend Joe and the Farmington Hills Volvo dealership!   I had such a wonderful experience purchasing my Volvo today, and I can’t say enough great things about Joseph Pope, and Chad Kyre. This happened to be my first week at a new job so my schedule was extremely tight.I had to come in quickly during my lunch break to complete everything and get back in time for my meetings. Joseph and Chad went above and beyond to make sure the entire process was seamless.When I arrived, the car was beautifully cleaned and ready for me, the paperwork was prepared, and everything was organized so thoughtfully and efficiently. What impressed me most was that even though they knew I was in a hurry, I never felt rushed. They were incredibly professional, detailed, thoughtful, and genuinely kind, making sure everything was taken care of while still respecting my time. Buying a car can sometimes feel stressful or overwhelming, but they made the entire experience incredibly positive and enjoyable.It truly felt like they cared about making this an exciting moment for me rather than simply completing a sale.   I’ve been happy with LaFontaine Volvo. I’ve had a pleasant experience buying two cars here, and the service dept is great. When the GHCA failed on my Polestar, I got a loaner and they replaced the part getting my car back to me in 24 hours.

  I brought my Polestar here because, to my knowledge, this is the only certified Polestar service location in Michigan. Routine scheduled maintenance and replacement of a power window switch took over three weeks, and despite requesting one, I was not provided a loaner vehicle. I later returned after Polestar advised that my vehicle required an in-person software update, but the dealership stated that no update was available. This resulted in repeated back-and-forth between Polestar and the dealership, while an active safety recall also remained unresolved. I ended up selling the Vehicle.
