  Had past decent experiences here, so I booked a car - in advance - everything was set - confirmation number - what vehicle - everything! 2 days later I received a call saying that "they over booked and do not have any cars" for me and that they were cancelling the reservation. PERIOD - NOTHING ELSE! No, we can help you find another at one of our other locations, no we will give you a decent discount on your next rental for all the inconvenience we caused you, nothing but a Goodbye. Why do people make reservations if they are going to be dismissed at the drop of a hat? My advice - and I didn't even go to school for customer service - but only rent out the number of cars that you have!! To top it off - I continued to receive text messages and emails confirming my reservation! When I called back and asked if I could again get a car - they stated "No, we just can't void reservations that were made online." WOW - ok - then give me a car if you can't void it! This cost me much stress and a lot more money since I had to book the day of at another place. DO NOT TRUST THEIR RESERVATIONS! UPDATE: They commented on my review to contact them. I did so - and they just said yeah - you were out of luck - that is how the holidays work and they couldn't guarantee a car. Really? You are a car rental place!

  They don't have online registration, though we did registration done in online, they will do registration once again manually in front of you.

  UPDATE: Still after calling , they never have enough staff to handle things quickly, always making excuses and saying sorry we are backed up and not enough employees. I want my credit card HOLD taken off its been 3 weeks. There is no good excuses anymore, its simple neglect. My honest experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Farmington, Michigan: From the moment I arrived, the customer service did not feel genuinely friendly the way many of these reviews describe. It felt more like a rehearsed or surface-level friendliness rather than people truly trying to help customers. Everyone waiting, including myself, was patient and respectful, but there was definitely an atmosphere of “you’re at our mercy” while you wait through the process. That said, I did receive my rental vehicle without any major issue, and initially everything seemed fine. The real problem began afterward. I originally used one credit card when I picked up the vehicle. The next day, I switched payment methods and used a second card for the rental charges. I returned the vehicle after two days, and the rental itself was fully paid using the second card. However, Enterprise left a hold on the first card — and two weeks later, that hold was STILL there. I understand mistakes happen, and I stayed calm and patient throughout the process. I first went in person to explain the issue. Then I called again another day when nothing had changed. Then I called a third time today because I’m currently on vacation and unable to properly use my card due to the unresolved hold. Yes, by the third call I was frustrated. I did use profanity while explaining my frustration, and I admit that. But I never yelled at anyone or personally attacked anyone. I simply said something along the lines of: “I’m on vacation and this is really messing things up for me. Can you please help get this resolved?” Instead of responding with understanding, the employee immediately became defensive and said, “If you’re going to yell and swear at me…” I stopped him and clarified that I was not yelling at him. A better customer service response would have been: “I completely understand your frustration. You’ve already contacted us multiple times, and you’re right to want this resolved. Let me see what I can do immediately.” That’s all most customers want — understanding, ownership, and communication. Instead, I had to practically coach the employee into offering a reasonable solution by asking if he could at least send another urgent message explaining that the customer had repeatedly tried resolving the issue and was understandably upset because the hold was still active. Eventually he agreed, but only after unnecessary defensiveness. Overall: The rental itself was fine. The unresolved credit card hold was not. But most disappointing was the lack of empathy and ownership when trying to fix the problem.
