So many times I’ve considered buying a steering wheel cover, but I always talked myself out of it because I knew I wouldn’t be able to put it on myself. This time, I stopped by the store to replace my windshield wipers and happened to see a cute steering wheel cover that I couldn’t resist. Cortney first helped me replace my wipers, and then kindly offered to help install the steering wheel cover. It turned out to be really hard, really, really hard! But she never complained, never gave up, and just kept trying. She spent more than 10–15 minutes working on it with patience and determination until she finally got it on. I was so impressed by her willingness to go above and beyond to help a customer. Her kindness made my day. Thank you, Cortney, for your amazing help and excellent service!

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
