I do appreciate the young lady manager who stepped in and made my visit a little better. Very sweet lady and knows her stuff!!! Handles customers very well! She discounted my visit for the inconvenience. You go Angie!!!

- MRMister RicemannAug 14, 20263.0I received an oil change at Valvoline on Mack near Grosse Pointe, and a little over two weeks later, the oil plug came out while I was driving to work. The oil pressure light came on, the engine started making noise, and I stopped immediately. A nearby mechanic found that the engine had no oil and the oil plug was missing. I filed a claim that same day. Within 24 hours, the location manager investigated, came to my home, added oil, and purchased a new oil plug. The car ran for about 10 minutes, and I drove it for another 15 minutes. Before leaving, I was told everything should be fine and that my next oil change would be free. Unfortunately, nothing was provided in writing, including the results of the investigation. I also missed two days of work. I appreciate the quick face-to-face response, but the lack of follow-up and closure was disappointing. Overall, customer service was fair in its initial response but poor in communication and resolution.
