  This place is not good. A&B Transmission should not be your 1st, 2nd,or 10th choice for ANY REPAIR. Especially Transmission work. My vehicle was having some Trans issues but still drove. I dropped my car off July 6 2026 for a Transmission inspection. Cost 525.00 for the shop to remove the Transmission and diagnose the problem. I got a call the next day, over the phone he statedhe found a few things wrong clutches and gears. He suggested a trans REBUILD and gave a price of 2880.00 to complete the work. I got a call july 13th the car was ready. I picked the car up july 14th morning once the shop opened. I never made it out the parking lot before the same problem I brought the car to them happened again. Hard shift from 1st to 2nd gear. I went back inside and the old guy at the counter said "thats was normal just drive it and the car will reset its self" Car did not reset itself. Car was returned the next day , 8:30am. The car was returned july 23. Seeming to be repaired. The next day I was replacing hub bearing on the car and noticed the Shop had busted the ball joint boot and grease was now leaking. Shop denied it. I replaced the control arm myself, while under the car I noticed the newly rebuilt 3200.00 Transmission is leaking. And the shifter knob has a jerk when the car is placed in park. The (D) doesn't light up any more when car is placed into drive. July 27th i contacted the shop about these problems. Today is july 28 2026 car was returned back to the shop for the 3rd time. No compensation or accommodation has been by this shop. I dig some digging and found this shop had been sued for damaging customers Transmission. I wish I had did better research but I will be filling a lawsuit. They have kept my car at least 4 days each time I have had to return it to them. I will go out my way to support small businesses, and black owed businesses but these people are not good, and do not practice good business ethic. At this point I think i need to let Chevrolet fix what they cant, haven't, & and keep breaking correctly. That was actually my first thought but you see small businesses in your neighborhood and you want to help keep them there, so I support. Please stay far away from this shop. Take your hard earned money to better establishment.

  I came in for work on my 2019 ford escape. My cost was 3700 dollars in repairs I did not have this money on hand they allowed me to work my payment down while my car set for 2 months. When I received my car it came with a warranty end I was told to bring it back I. 10 days to check for any leaks. I will definitely be recommending them

  I had a great experience with this shop, the reviews had me on edge at first but after having a conversation about the job I was confident in this shops work. They look at your car for free but that does not mean they can find an internal issue from the outside, only leaks, bad wiring, bad lines, etc, for opening the transmission they charge $525 which goes toward repair costs, I went over options with Joe (Rebuilt transmission, used transmission, etc) and I straight up asked what’s the top dollar my rebuilt transmission repair could cost and what’s the lowest just to get an idea of what I was dealing with. He told me 1,500 to 3,800 depending on what was wrong. So i gave him the ok and paid the $525, car was done in least than a week total was $3,670 which came out to $3,145 upon pick up, I’m happy with my repair haven’t had an issue since 6 month warranty but they said if any issues a month or two past 6 months to bring it in for free. Highly recommended but ask questions don’t assume anything Joe is a straight shooter type guy, shop is black family owned and operated.

  This is the absolute best shop, I’ve honestly never had a better experience. Ask for Nate and Joe, they got y’all. This was really great experience!!!

  I had a great experience with A n BTransmission. The staff was professional, honest, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain the repairs needed, provided fair pricing, and completed the work in a timely manner. My vehicle is running great, and I appreciate the quality workmanship and excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend ANB Transmission to anyone looking for reliable transmission repair and automotive service.
