  Never have had to replace a windshield before but I'm glad I contact safelite and the tech logan did a great job with communication and performed the service on time and beyond expectations. They've earned my future business.

  Absolutely awful customer service and a very disappointing experience from start to finish. We had a small chip in our front windshield, smaller than a dime, after a semi threw a rock on the highway. We went through AAA, which recommends Safelite through their mobile app, and scheduled a mobile on-site repair at my workplace. The technician, Ken, arrived at my office building and I met him outside. I asked what he needed from me, and he told me very little. He shook my hand and said he would let me know when the repair was finished, so I went back inside to my office. About 30 minutes later, I received a receipt in my email. I went outside expecting to meet the technician and make sure nothing else was needed. Instead, Ken and his vehicle were already gone, and the original small chip was now surrounded by a large crack in the windshield. There was no attempt to come inside and speak with me, no phone call, no email, and no explanation whatsoever. I was simply left to discover the damage on my own. I immediately called Safelite’s 1-800 number to report the issue. I was then told that by agreeing to the appointment, I had also agreed to waive Safelite’s liability if the windshield was further damaged during the repair. Because of that, what was originally an $85 chip repair with a $0 deductible has now turned into an approximately $1,100 full windshield replacement, which requires me to pay a deductible through AAA. I attempted to contact both the technician and this location several times and received no response or call back. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of communication, accountability, and customer service. I understand that windshield repairs may carry some risk, but leaving without notifying the customer that the damage had worsened is unacceptable. I will not recommend Safelite to anyone after this experience. Do yourself a favor and look for a reputable local glass shop instead. This was not worth the hassle, frustration, or lack of customer care.

  My technician, John, was amazing. He communicated with me, came early, walked me through the windshield repair process and was very kind and sociable during the experience. 10/10 recommend safelitte and 10/10 recommend John!
