- JMJay MJun 1, 20261.0Awful work 😪 😞 they quoted a price then it was way more. Got the car back and it had several new problems.. they said they didn't even know how to fix them but they caused them?? Never again. Id say take your car anywhere else, this place is horrible. If I could give less then 1 star I would. If you want quality work stay away from here.
- GMG MFeb 11, 20231.0I regret not taking my vehicle to Michigan Motor Exchange. Like the other reviewers warned, this place will scam you out of WAY,WAY more money than they originally quote you. Remember this if you still choose to do business at this old and outdated shop . They will rip you off and their warranty is a joke.

We were told by another place that our van needed a new engine but instead of just taking our money, they were able to figure out that it needed a lot less work! They saved us thousands of dollars and lots of time! I would recommend them to anyone needing engine work! They were easy to work with and easy to reach and very informative! Great work and thanks again!

I have known them for years and am amazed at their scope of different engines they work on. In my experience, having people who specialize in different areas of expertise and having the best machining equipment IS the difference between a real engine shop and all the rest of the wannabe machine shops. D & S is the gold standard in S.E. Michigan for engine shops and has years of success stories to back that up - Keep up the great work, Mike and the staff !!
