  Timothy Clark was absolutely exceptional in helping me out today! I had recently stopped by a different auto parts store seeking some info on fuses for my 2016 Ford Edge and they were completely unhelpful. Timothy took the extra time and completely went above and beyond today to get my fuse reset, taking great care to understand the issue and help me troubleshoot. Absolutely spectacular- saved the day! Thank you Timothy!!

  This AutoZone Auto Parts in Chelsea MI was our absolute lifesaver on Sunday, May 17, 2026. We were traveling home to Illinois when the battery light had turned on in the car on the highway. We pulled off into the high school parking lot and after several hours of trying to fix it ourselves and roadside assistance being called twice, we arrived at this location. The manager (I believe his name was Tim) was the kindest person. It was after 5pm on a Sunday by the time we arrived. He told us that the alternator and the positive terminal were basically dead. We had to buy two batteries and a battery charger and we basically needed to book it home for the 200 mile (4 1/2 hour drive) and even then we weren’t guaranteed to make it. Tim allowed us to charge our phones inside and grab food while he closed up the shop and then helped us get on the road after his shift and made sure we started out okay. We meant to call Tim back and let him know that his help allowed us to get almost all the way home safely. We had to stop and switch out the battery at Rest Stop 706 in Watervliet and then around 11pm Sunday we broke down for good in Portage, Indiana. We simply didn’t have enough battery left and couldn’t recharge it quick enough. With the help of family, who brought a third freshly charged battery, the car just barely made it for the last 90 miles into our home in northwestern Illinois, the battery light turning back on as we pulled into the neighborhood. We are incredibly grateful for the help of the Chelsea MI AutoZone Auto Parts and Tim who gave us a very interesting story to tell for the remainder of our lifetime. (Written 6-5-26)

  The employees here are always so incredibly friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. This is by far my favorite auto parts store!

  Thank you Tim for helping me bring parts to my car as I am recovering from hip replacement surgery. I appreciate your quick help and courteous personality. The console I purchased for my Honda, even though it was not top of the line, is way better than the stock console in a 2010 Honda CRV. I don't know what Honda was thinking with the factory center console.
