We have.always received great service from General RV. This is our fourth RV purchased since 2003. We bought our first from GRV then tried a different dealer. We ended up trading that one in at GRV and bought two more from them over the last 6 years. Our last trailer needed some warranty work and our service rep took care of every issue.

I'm going to add to my wife's review. This is what you get buying here used. All because side vent was taking in water for approximately 3 years workers predicted. Had a cover on it all winter and bought in August never moved it since they delivered. Every repair estimate said it should have obviously been caught during inspection. Thanks Steve,Adam and mickey mouse inspectors. Everyone taken advantage of reach out to us. Let's post these experiences all over since they won't do right by us. Get paperwork of repair cost and signed statements from workers.

Edit: had two repair people out. Both stated issue has been from few years and should have been caught upon any simple inspection and will back me.I told them all people I spoke to there said they only look for obvious things, they said this was obvious!
Please take time and save money reading the reviews or bring a professional to inspect. We purchased an RV less than a year ago and it has been in the same spot it was delivered in. We are working on getting a truck to pull it with a trade in. We found this trailer and fell in love. I immediately noticed an odor and saw ants upon entering. When asking the salesman assured it was from being closed up and under a tree and that they would spray it for ants. Ok fair. Next day we go through before delivery and smell is covered with freshener and still see a few ants. It takes time he said. My husband and I are seniors and looked as best we could and it really appeared nothing obvious and with things covered would have never noticed anyhow. Moving forward this weekend I said I better get in there and clean it and get ready to use our free camping gifted from them that was coming up. Open door and see ants and smell is stronger. I followed the source to under sink where there was a screwed in piece of wood separating the cabinet and pushed it back a little and observed a soft spot. We unscrewed it and pulled up vinyl flooring in that spot. Keep in mind no water or anything has been used and still winterized. Absolutely disgusting what we discovered. I could put my finger through wood and black with mold. Curious how far it went we removed brackets holding fridge and lifted bench seat at the table. Yep you guessed it..all under there. We immediately called and a gentleman was kind enough to come look, but also stated were basically screwed. At $250 an hour labor it would exceed the value of $8300 trailer. Impossible! You know they would put a bandaid over it and get another huge profit. After speaking with salesman today he suggested we just buy new so there are no issues. After reading reviews that I should have to begin with it doesn't seem to matter if new or used is bought.. your screwed. Anyway not all of us seniors are blessed to be able to do this, but thanks for the sales pitch. But here's the best. If we trade In the most they could probably do is $4k. It depreciated half in less than a year he said. Isn't that something? How about with paying $250 an hour to employees you have them inspect when there is obvious issues brought to your attention and even seen and smelled by the salesman. You can't buy anything anymore without getting screwed. $850 more had to be put into this to get fixed in time to do our trip. You should eat that General RV! But they claimed to fix it would be more than value. Liars! Stay away from there.

Our experience at General RV of Brownstown was exceptional! Everyone we dealt with were respectful and treated us like family. The day of walk through, we walked the red carpet in VIP status and made us feel like a priority and not just like another paying customer.
Thank you to everyone at Brownstown!
If you’re hesitant on dealing with General RV, I highly suggest that you check out the Brownstown location.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Customer Service – General RV Brownstown
My wife Tammy and I own a Class C RV, and over the years we have seen a tremendous improvement in the service department at General RV Brownstown.
On our recent service visit, Chad, our service advisor, went above and beyond from start to finish. From my initial phone call, Chad understood that we had an upcoming camping trip and made sure to get us scheduled quickly. He kept us informed throughout the entire process, provided regular updates on the progress of the repairs, and even took the initiative to help get the service started himself on the day we dropped off the RV.
Chad’s dedication, communication, and commitment to customer satisfaction made a significant difference in our experience. He worked hard to ensure everything was completed on time and to our satisfaction, allowing us to confidently prepare for our next trip.
Thank you, Chad, and the entire Brownstown service team for the excellent customer service. It is greatly appreciated and did not go unnoticed.
