  We’re thrilled with our new camper! Our salesperson, Casey, was a complete pleasure to work with. She listened and always responded to calls/texts quickly. I highly recommend her! Closing went smoothly, and our walk-through was thorough. Our tech answered all our questions and didn’t rush us. I dropped one star from our review because of lack of flexibility scheduling closing and delivery.

  We were in the market for a camper. We attended the Novi camper show. Ever since, my husband constantly said “I want to get a camper” and was sending me campers we found on the internet. We were looking for a no boundaries camper. Several places had them new. Keep in mind I did my research, and most of which was from forest river’s website. We checked out a few different ones, but the sales staff at the other places couldn’t accurately answer the questions that I already knew the answer to. That told me they would give me the best answer they could come up with to sell me a camper. We seen a used NOBO camper at Camping world in Birch Run. We immediately headed there from Lansing. This is where we encountered Casey Love. Her friendly, bubbly personality made us feel at ease. My husband and I both knew that we didn’t wanna go anywhere else. All the questions I asked, she knew the answer, and if she didn’t, she said as much and found out the answer for us. She was very helpful and made this whole thing as easy as possible for us. She was very helpful, personable, friendly and an overall joy to be around. To camping world, we are customers that purchased a product that they were selling from one of their employees. To us, we consider Casey a new friend. When and if we are in the market for an upgrade, Casey will be the first person we track down.

  This is the continuation of the 1 star Shane Ritter review. please read both reviews. I explained to her what happened. She asked if she could go in the back and look at something then she'd be right back. After about 3-4 minutes, Jody came back and said that the unit should have never left this morning because there was a part still on order, which it just had come in that same day. She said Zach should have never let the unit leave and he should have noticed it. I left the unit there so they could install the part to fix the slide out. I also asked Jody to winterize the trailer since we weren't able to use it at all since we had purchased it, and it was getting late in the year for us to camp. She told me she would take care of it for me for the troubles that I had that day. A few days after this, I received a phone call from Jody stating that the camper slide is fixed and working. I said great and asked if the winterization was done and she said "No, did you want us to do that for you?" and I had told her yes. She said it would be ready for pick up on the weekend, but she wouldn't be there but would let the others know what was going on. I arrive on this past Saturday to pick up the unit and the first thing Brittany tells me is that I am not on the list for pick up today. I expressed my disbelief because of the phone call, previous dealings with Zach and the whole ordeal. She checked to see why the I wasn't on the list and it was because the winterization hadn't been done, that was discussed with Jody previously. She asked if I had a few minutes because she could have service winterize while I waited. I told her "no, just give me my camper back, I'll do it myself". She walked around the unit with me to double check everything worked, and again, couldn't check the A/C unit because there wasn't any power to check it with (which is sad that I would have to take it home to check a "fix" and hope it worked). Brittany did offer me a copy of the work order. I took it and hooked to the trailer and left. I did have one issue that hasn't given me any sort of problems until this trip (Camping World - you can check your paper work as well on this) but the service department bent the lifting jack on the trailer. No prior complaints about this because it functioned properly up until picking it up this last time. The bar is bent and will not retract all the way into the jack head. It is clear that it was pushed around and bent. Overall, it sucks giving these one star reviews. I don't like to because it does leave a negative impact on the business, but this review was warranted. Hopefully they take this as constructive criticism and become better in the service department. The sales side of CW Birch Run was top notch. Afterwards, it has been a complete crap show. I have heard many people say that about these bigger RV stores, and I was hoping that they were wrong and they just had a bad experience/day but this is not something I would want anyone else to deal with, especially paying the money we do for these units.

  We placed an order yesterday for a RV refrigerator it said they had 3 in stock and ready to pick up. We drive an hour there to be taken to a floor model this refrigerator has glass doors and was not in a box we were not offered one in a box and when we asked for cardboard he went looking and said we have some but they won't let me give it to you!! We had to ask for help loading it and the young man who helped was very nice and tried to help us but management was not about customer service or helping. The manager came out to help said this isn't heavy my husband said I just paid over $1,000 for this i don't want to break it. He helped lift and walked away they both did. We ended up having to purchase towels from them so we wouldn't break or scratch it when we put the straps on. The refrigerator is nice and what we wanted but the service at the store makes me want to never purchase from them again.

  LONG review - please read before servicing your unit here. The service department is terrible! I will never take any RV we own back there for anything. We bought a used, new to use unit (2021) about a month ago. When we took delivery, they told us there were a few things they had to fix (new tires, battery disconnect switch and the A/C unit was blowing warm air). Everything else seemed to be in working order. They told us that we had to schedule an appointment before they could fix anything, but we had to take the unit home. When we got home, the rear slide wouldn't extend. We called and said they said they would look at it while it was in for the rest of the items. Fast forward to the service part. We made an appointment and dropped off the camper to get the items fixed. They had the camper for 2 weeks. It was "done" the first week, but due to our schedule, we couldn't get to it until the next weekend. We scheduled a time to come pick it up the Saturday that we had some time available. I walk over to the service department and let them know I am here to pick up our camper. I was greeted by Jody and Zach. Zach was the one taking care of me because my other person of contact just got laid off. Right away, I could tell Zach wanted nothing to do with work. His cell phone was a priority to him. He couldn't stop whatever he was doing for a few minutes to get me taken care of. He rushed around trying to find the keys to the camper, didn't know what had been done to the camper, all while he was on his cell phone. I walked around the store for about 10 minutes just looking while he tried to figure out what was going on. I come back to the service counter to check in to see how it was going (I had a bunch of other things planned for the day so I was just trying to keep my time straight for everything). He still couldn't locate anything for the unit. I looked outside and then told him that it looked like it was sitting outside. He said "let's go look at it", and we proceeded to go outside - still on his cell phone as we walked to the unit, which was park in the 2nd or 3rd to last spot in the service drop off/pick up area. He asked me what was supposed to have been done so I told him. He quickly checked the tires, disconnect switch and said, yup those are new but told me that he couldn't show me the air or the slide was in working order. He then said, we still have to find your keys. As we were walking around the unit, I noticed the keys were in the sliding door and the sliding door was left open. I asked Zach if I could get a copy of what had been done. He made it sound like a huge inconvenience to print off what was done on our camper. I got my print out, hooked to the trailer and went home (about a 45-50 minute drive). I got home and the first thing I did was plug it into power to see if everything worked as Zach said it "should". First thing I checked was the A/C and it was working properly. I then proceeded to check the rear slide out and to my dismay, it was doing the exact same thing and wouldn't extend out. I waited a few minutes and tried again (I knew the result wouldn't be any different) and it still didn't work. I called CW Birch Run and asked for Zach. He was busy and gave me a call back. When he called, I explained that our rear slide out still wasn't working and it was doing the same exact thing as before. I even had him listen to the noises it was making on the phone. He asked if I could bring it back up and leave it again. I told him I was going to try but I had other things to get done before I could and he said I should try to get it back up there before 4, or I could just drop it on Sunday since service isn't there on Sunday. I told him I wanted to talk to someone when I dropped it back off since it wasn't taken care of. I ended up dropping it off around 3 P.M. that same Saturday that I had picked it up. When I came back in, I talked to Jody - Zach was gone for the day. To be continued on a second review!
