  The ladies overnight were promised a detailed five star review for the efforts they gave to make my life as a homeless person working on my aging RV. This is my perspective of a situation as a separate paying customer on the same project. The effort was incredible, considering the stress those ladies were under. One such stress was the man at the store promising to help me swap the pulley... Knowing that the alternator would arrive after it was not his shift, not his problem. Leaving a pulley swap TO TWO SMALL FRAMED WOMEN! Gods only know what else was left. Because of this, it took 18 hours and the intervention of a kind veteran stranger to do a 15 minute job. Thankfully, the night manager let us stay the night to complete the work and leave safely in the morning. Those women saved this review. Now the owner needs to save the store.

  Manager James "tested" our alternator by ear, even though they have an alternator tester right next to him on the bench. He said it was bad and they could order the alternator from The hub which would be there around 2:30. James promised that he would help us change out the pulley on the new alternator however, he failed to let anybody know about the situation before leaving at 2:00 when his shift ended. The result of this cost the poor night shift girls and us several hours of fighting to try to do something that we didn't know how to do. After successfully getting the parts changed we ended up having to buy close to $85 extra in tools because they were " damaged "in the process of doing the thing that they said they were going to do for us. This fiasco left us having to be stuck in their parking lot overnight because they didn't deliver on the promise. I do also want to point out that this manager's behavior leaves a laundry list for the nighttime manager and she's in over her head because he's not pulling his weight. Overall the nighttime manager her actions saved me as a customer. But I'm very displeased with the way this store handled everything during the morning shift when James was in charge. Also as a side note we had the core sitting on his desk and he still charged us the full amount and refused to take the core off until the part got there.

  I needed help with diagnosing and then fixing a problem. Eric at the Wilder Road location was extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend anyone use AutoZone for their automotive needs!
