I stopped in to uncle Ed’s on Columbia for the first time to be greeted by Thomas the lube tech, he started off with a friendly smile and letting me know my entrance to the shop was great! He explained we’d start with a light inspection afterwards he informed me both my plate lights were out, I had asked him how much they’re be to replace and he told me $15.99 which held true to the end! (I got them changed and Daniel the shift lead got them done very fast along with Zach) After the light inspection Thomas let me know my driver side front wiper blade was damaged and it could use a replacement I agreed! Thomas then went on to ask me my preference on my tire pressure which I was unsure of so he asked me politely to open my door and check and he got too it! by setting my tires to 38 pounds letting the manager Tristen know they were uneven at first and now fixed then moving on to wash my front windshield while Tristen showed me my old oil, which all of this mare me feel like they really cared about me and my car!! Tristen went on to explain my oil was coming in really low and dark and had some grime and carbon built up my car is my only source of transportation so I listened and Tristen offered two options of engine clean to help my car’s health and what each one is capable of I ended up going with the full engine clean which only took an additional 7 minutes of a 17 minute stop there!!!! after I agreed I seen a new face Ezra who came from the lower bay I asked Ezra his name and what he had seen. he explained that my oil came out very dark and that since I chose the full engine clean I would see a huge difference, which I did after the 7 minutes the crew emptied my car put a brand new filter on clarified my oil level and had me start my car back up to do a pressure test everything came back good and Thomas came to me with my oil stick and showed my new oil to me which was almost as clear as when I got the car I was in shock to see how trustworthy and honest this crew at Columbia were they made my oil change simple quick and efficient and I will continue to do my business with these guys I also left a tip so that should prove something these guys know what they’re doing give em a chance and trust them!!!

Uncle Ed’s on Columbia in Battle Creek is the place to go when your not familiar with your cars maintenance service, I spoke to all the crew members from the Columbia location one by one from them checking in on me and I was only there for less than 15 minutes! The lube tech Zach guided me safely into the shop and was so smiley and lively he explained we’d start with a light inspection, afterwards he let me know all my lights were working good and had told me my rear wiper blade was indeed broken and showed me a picture of it which already gave me a good indication of trust!, I let him know I’d like it replaced , he also asked me if I would like my tires checked! I didn’t know what to say so he politely asked me to check the inside of my door for the recommended tire pressure and set my tires accordingly as well as letting me know that Tristen or Daniel would be over to talk to me very shortly the manager Tristen was there almost instantly!..after zach stepped away he washed my window and set my tires to 35 pounds letting Tristen know a couple of my tires were uneven and they’ve been fixed for a smoother ride, Tristen the manager came to me let me know my tires are good and went over the oil change process and the prices I told him since they’ve been so helpful and willing to pay attention for my vehicle I’d do anything he asked! but he didn’t tell me I should do anything specifically! but explained to me my cars condition of oil and health!, when he brought me the oil stick and I seen the oil was really dark I didn’t understand but Tristen explained that the reason it was so dark was because I’ve never cleaned the inside of my engine and explained in detail that carbon and grime builds up! Which I was honestly unaware of he also went so much as to explain my engine air filter and cabin filter at a point and they had pretty much been used to their max and the way the two looked i was in awe because the cabin filter was pitch black!!! “and that’s what filters the air I breathe” I said as he explained the situation I knew right away I wanted it changed because he cared. He told me my cars maker suggested a cleaner or additive around my mileage for the grime and carbon build up. Which I therefore decided to get it because I love my car. and that’s how it felt when he explained it to me that they loved my car as well!!. I then told them to run what they call a engine clean through i had asked to speak with who saw my oil come out my vehicle which was Ezra he stated he was new but his integrity and physicality of my old oil on his arms showed me he also cared about my cars health! his arms were almost pitch black with my old oil and he let me know he would like for my car to run smoothly and healthy I knew right there uncle Ed’s on Columbia was my forever go to oil change spot!!! I’ve found a place that not only cares but who’s hospitality and service shows! Uncle Ed’s on Columbia has found a forever customer five stars all around thank you to all the great work you all do

I’ve had an excellent experience at Uncle Ed’s since I started going in 2024. From day one, I’ve received outstanding service, especially from an employee named Tristan. He consistently takes the time to explain everything clearly, breaks things down in a way I can understand, and makes the whole experience stress-free. As someone who doesn’t know much about cars, that level of patience and communication means a lot to me.
Overall, the entire staff is friendly, professional, and welcoming every time I come in. They make sure I feel comfortable, informed, and confident about the work being done on my vehicle. I truly appreciate the honesty and quality of service here.
Highly recommend Uncle Ed’s to anyone looking for trustworthy, top-tier service. 5 stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
