  I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Safelite and will not be using this company again. Last weekend, my car was parked and not driven anywhere. Then come Monday morning, I noticed a crack in my windshield. There were no signs of anything hitting the windshield, no impact point, and no other visible damage. Since Safelite had previously worked on my windshield, I contacted the company to see if it was covered under warranty. I was told that it was and that a technician would come to inspect it to determine whether there was any prior damage before completing the warranty repair. I was told by the technician, Nick, that he would arrive between 3:00 and 5:00 PM. Instead, he showed up at approximately 1:45 PM, significantly earlier than the scheduled time. He looked at the windshield and claimed there was prior damage, which I strongly disagree with. There was no prior damage to the windshield before this crack appeared. Nick then messaged me saying he could not complete the repair and told me to call another number to schedule an appointment. He left before I even had an opportunity to respond or discuss the situation with him. My mom and I both tried calling the number he provided, but the phone rang several times and then automatically disconnected. I messaged Nick again to let him know that the number he provided was not working, and he was not helpful in trying to resolve the situation or provide another solution. We also went directly to the Safelite shop with the car to show them the windshield and explain what happened. We were still told there was a crack, even though the issue we were trying to address was whether the windshield damage qualified for the warranty. The entire experience was frustrating and disappointing, especially considering we were simply trying to get help with a windshield issue we believed should have been covered. At this point, we will no longer be using Safelite. You have lost customers who were willing to give your company their business, but the lack of communication, customer service, and willingness to help resolve the situation was extremely disappointing. We are now taking our business elsewhere, where the office staff and technicians have been understanding, respectful, and willing to help. I hope Safelite takes this experience seriously because customers should not have to work this hard just to get a straightforward answer and assistance with a warranty issue.

  Great communication. Our tech was Asher & he was polite, friendly, efficient-very professional. No hassle insurance claims. Good company.

  The new windshield was gummy filthy and scratched. I will be calling on Monday to complain. Very inconvenient as there is no way to contact the shop that did the work.

  The communication was great. I got a text a few days beforehand asking to confirm the appointment. The day of they called me and let me know the between time, and then called me and let me know they were in there way and how far out they were. He replaced our entire windshield. Even took our dash cam down and saved our oil change paper and put the oil change paper back on and explained what to do for the next few days. My boys were all excited about the windshield being replaced and watched out the window and told me when it was taken off.

  My technician, Max, was easy to communicate with and made the entire experience a breeze. He went above and beyond to make sure my car was protected from the rain, and he took great care to keep everything clean and avoid making a mess while working on my vehicle. Max was professional, courteous, and clearly took pride in his work. I was extremely pleased with the service I received. If you’re having work done at Safelite, I highly recommend asking for Max!
