  My car needs oil between the miles on the reminder sticker. The person there today didn’t tall me I was wrong and agreed that my car is know for that. It made me feel heard and validated.

  This Uncle Ed's really has service down pat. While my family and I have been coming to this location for routine diagnostics and oil changes for about twenty years, the current team, under the leadership of manager Emily, is the best we've experienced. Friendly, efficient, and extremely helpful with tips on how to maintain our car's engine, I always breathe a sigh of relief when I'm greeted by this team. Other service locations might experience significant turnover, but, God willing, Uncle Ed's on Washtenaw won't. They should have a trophy for service on prominent display.

  Emily and her team were great! They got me in 30 mins before close and got all of wants and needs out of the way in 30mins. Shop was clean and everyone was professional. Every time I come here, it's a positive experience. I will be back.

  First time at Uncle Ed’s superb service. I know I can be a slacker when it comes to my vehicle. Not enough hours in the day!! Went to Uncle Ed’s all the fluids and filters were checked I was shown the old filters vs the new filters. What service was recommended for my vehicle. The young Men were very thorough. I was freaked out when the air filter inside my car was pulled out and was so disgusting!!!! I swear it must have been the original 2021 filter placed in the car when made! I definitely recommend Uncle Ed’s. I will absolutely, positively return for all my oil changes. Very happy customer.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience thanks to Jimmy and Emily! From the moment I pulled in, they both made everything smooth, professional, and welcoming. Jimmy was extremely knowledgeable—he broke down my recommended services in a way I could actually understand, explained my oil type, and helped me see why full synthetic was the best choice for my vehicle. Emily was just as impressive—very friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. She made sure everything stayed organized and kept the whole experience running efficiently. Together, they worked like a perfect team, keeping great energy while multitasking and making sure every customer felt taken care of. They checked my tire PSI, went over all my fluids, and had me in and out in no time without ever making me feel rushed. The level of customer service they both provide is top-tier. I highly recommend anyone to go see Jimmy and Emily at Uncle Ed’s Oil Shoppe—you won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely be back and sending more people their way!
