  Absolutely terrible experience. I had a confirmed reservation for a minivan, but when I arrived, they simply told me they didn’t have one. The staff was dismissive and unhelpful, even though there were clearly minivans sitting in the lot. Only after I repeatedly pushed back did they agree to transfer my reservation to DTW, which delayed my move and even increased the rental price. After reading other Google reviews, I realized this isn’t an isolated incident—many people have reported the same thing. This location is incredibly unreliable. Don’t count on them honoring your reservation. 垃圾公司，垃圾员工。我专门订了Minivan来搬家的，结果明明停车场里摆着好几辆Minivan，但就是告诉我没有车了。没车就算了，当天我到了准备取车才和我说没车，玩呢？

  Made a reservation, got an email saying my reservation was confirmed, then later got a call when I was about to get there that they were all sold out and would not honor the reservation. What’s the point of a reservation if it doesn’t reserve a car

  DO NOT use this location, they don’t honor your reservation. If you have another option use it or better use TURO if you are in Ann Arbor. They cancelled my reservation twice. First they called and told me they didn’t have a car available and they transferred me to customer service rep. The rep said that cars were available at that branch and created another reservation and I got the confirmation email. The pick up day, I got the reservation cancelled again, but I was already at the place, which is in middle of nowhere. Unfair enough, I was in line and the two people in-front of me returned their cars, two. But when I got my turn, the same person, I know because she told me “I called you to let you know there were not cars available”, told me that they didn’t have any car. I said,but two cars were just returned. She gave me an evil look and said those cars are for other customers Reservations and told to go to Detroit Airport and gave me the customer service # to call. That was all…!!! No intention to help or find a solution. Nothing. Be aware that if you are dropped off there, you will need any type of transportation to leave the place/area if you don’t get your deserves car. Ubers take 20-25 min to get there and it is a $45 charge to the trip to Detroit Airport. People at the counter offer you nothing. In 20 years renting with National, this is the worst branch office I have ever been to.

  Ann Arbor National Car Rental operates on their own terms. There is a huge disconnect between National Car Rental (online) and the branch. We booked a car online twice to pick up at this branch and both reservations were cancelled with very short notice. The first one was cancelled the night before we showed up to pick up the car. Then we called Customer Service and they booked us and gave us another confirmation number. The next day we showed up and we got a cancellation via txt message while we were in line at the counter. The lady at the counter does not help much. She just gave us the number to call DTW National Car Rental to see if they would be able to help. We came all the way from Texas for a swimming tournament and when we explained the situation her answer was “get a car and go to the airport or book through Enterprise or get an Uber”, to what I answered if I had a car I wouldn’t be renting… We ended up waiting +20min for an Uber and going to DTW to pick up a Rental Car. This place must be shut down. Don’t rent from this place. You will be wasting time and money. I do love #NationalCarRental but this branch must be shut down 👎. Lesson learned I should have read the reviews of this branch before booking.
