  The staff was very friendly and helpful. I waited for my car and they kept.me.updated on their progress. I will definitely go back to MDP for my next service.

  They are always there to help and their prices are fair. Good to know that I have a mechanic that can fix many issues and even do great work during an oil change.

  Great service. Fast diagnosis of problem. Free ride home when car left for repair. Finished quicker than original time quoted. I like the three year warranty.

  This is a character review for MDP's owner, Mike W. I've done business with Mike in both one-to-one and group settings, and will can firmly attest that he's honest, communicative, and has a personal love for learning, improvement, and helping others that goes a long way in business and in life. A stand-up guy, running a deservedly-growing shop. For anyone in most of western Washtenaw needing a repair - calling MDP is faraway my top recommendation!

  I was hopeful to use this shop after reading the good reviews and appreciated the gentleman that answered my call was respectful, but was disappointed over their refusal to provide a simple quote for a transmission flush over the phone after providing make and model. Prices can vary significantly from one shop to another and I just wanted a simple price before committing to an appointment so I wouldn't waste my time or this shops. Instead, I'd have to make an appointment, take my time to drive to your shop, just to then find out a price for a basic service? I would totally understand not wanting to quote a price if I'm calling about a complex service job that would be hard to price without seeing the vehicle first. But to refuse to provide basic service quotes over the phone is a red flag. This is the first shop I've encountered that wouldn't provide a quote for a routine non complex service. Imagine calling to get pricing on an oil change (another basic service) and this shop says they won't tell you over the phone. You have to show up in person and find out. It is frustrating from a customer perspective
