Super disappointed. One dealership (Ford) advised that there was an oil leak coming from the oil pan of our Camry. Apparently a common issue with a service bulletin for it. Been living a hectic schedule and it was really hard to drop our car off and pick it up for warranty work. We asked if they could provide a pickup/dropoff but they could not, this is something great that the Ford dealership does. It took the hassle of dropping our car off and getting it on a lift for a technician to look at the easily accessible service records to notate that the warranty repair was already completed last year by the previous owner. Wish the service desk did this before scheduling us in. Not very convenient. Respectful and professional staff, just a frustrating experience that could have been prevented.

I didn't think that I'd ever leave a review for a car dealership to show them in a good light per the nature of things and the fact that as a consumer I'm spending thousands on something thats always over priced. Central Maine Toyota has changed my view. Super good service with normal people that aren't there to completely screw you over. Great communication and fair prices... not to mention the no doc fees!!! Ryan made my transaction seamless and me and the warranty sales guy talked for a long time about non car stuff. Every staff member seemed to be happy and treated the customers like they knew them , Highly suggested.
I have been one of Toyota's most ardent fans for over forty years but will NEVER return to CM in Waterville. I have bought cars in Augusta, beginning when I was 18 years old and have owned many Toyotas ever since. I bought my last vehicle in Waterville and have even suggested others go to see Chris Albee for sales.
BUT, the service department was the LEAST PROFESSIONAL crew I have had the displeasure to work with.
When I wondered if the window shield replacement I had done was leaking and brought it back to the dealer, he informed me of the service technician notice on roof rack bolts failing in my RAV 2019 and showed me stains. Why did Toyota not inform me of this? I phoned CM Toyota and asked them to check it out. It took over two hours and were told a tech would have to look at the photos taken to determine if it was covered or not. This was begun in May. I received a call from Toyota in June saying the vehicle is covered under this notice. I was notified it would take about 4-5 days to complete and that they were "booked up" and I would need to wait a bit. Since I have one car and still work, I needed to arrange it for my vacation time in July. In June, I arranged for a replacement car. I live in the woods and 20 miles away. I was told that 7/13 would be perfect and to bring it by 9am that day. At the end of the week, on Friday, a call was made to CM Toyota to ask the status of my car and Brad told us that he had no idea why my car had been sitting there. He said photos had to be taken and permission given prior to the work. When asked why he had no idea the pics had been done and that they phoned me to arrange the fix, he told us that he had no record of that and that information was not in the computer at all. That cannot be!! We were then told that he was "shorthanded now" and that one technician was out on maternity leave. I am sure that did not just pop up and was a known fact when they scheduled me. After another week with no information, I tried reaching them and was told twice I would get a call back "in an hour". Neither time was the call made back. When finally reached we heard that by the time they took the roof off, they noticed damage by mice in the lining and support piece. It would need to be replaced and it would take "two weeks for parts to arrive", but I could call to check the status then.
I was basically told that my car was definitely NOT A PRIORITY, since they were short on technicians. I assume because the work would not be compensated by me. I felt as though my car was being held hostage there since they instructed me to leave it so the work could be done.
I asked if I could get my car and return it when they had workers and was told IF I did, they had no idea when they could get it back in and that the tech could work on it periodically, when not working on paying customers cars, I guess. I felt like my car was being held hostage and stated that to them.
So, after exactly one month and over $600 later for mice damage, I have the vehicle back.
DO NOT USE THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT CENTRAL MAINE TOYOTA. (I have never taken the time to write a negative review in my life and wish I didn't feel it was necessary.)

Every person at this particular Toyota dealership was kind, knowledgeable & helpful. I have visited other dealerships previously, and although the people are generally friendly and customer service oriented, their personalities may not be genuine.
Here, I felt intrinsically that most of the folks I came into contact with in my hometown of Waterville were genuinely friendly and helpful. That makes quite the difference for someone like me, who “feels” authenticity in others, most of the time.
Matt Loubier: I had visited several Toyota dealerships previously, in many states and cities all over. Matt is honest, low-pressure, he takes time and patiently explains everything without putting on airs.
In other words, extremely authentic and downright excellent in his approach to helping customers, who are seriously looking for a high-quality, non-hurried & non-pressurized experience when looking for a specific vehicle with options. He is an asset to be honored and appreciated at ANY dealership.
For me, those qualities are really important, especially in the 21st Century, where it seems humanity has all but lost its ability to connect with other humans on an authentic level.
After our first meeting, I was convinced he would be my salesperson, and the second time I visited, I placed a deposit on my new 2026 Toyota Sienna! So happy I did!
Thank you Central Maine Toyota and Matt Loubier!!! Brilliant service all around!

I had purchased a vehicle about 6moths ago that was having issues from the get go. They immediately found & fixed the 2 issues I was having & continued to have other problems. They couldn't feel or see anything wrong. After a few times I just kept driving it.
This last time I took it up, yesterday, I was beyond frustrated & making them know that!
I left, a VERY satisfied customer.
I was given a few options the 1st & 2nd were a no for me , due to it not feeling safe to drive it.
They really worked with me and got me into a much newer vehicle with 5yrs left on the warranty, only 35,000 miles compared to 110,000. A payment I could afford, it's bigger than my other car too, with a better APR!
Zach & General Manager, Bob(?) handled thing's very professionally & with compassion, even though I came in ranting & raving. I shared with them what's been going on in my life since purchasing the original vehicle & they were very kind.
It was nothing that they did with the original. It was an older vehicle,110,000 & a had been known, for having issues.
I'm so relieved to know have a vehicle I can depend to go anywhere I want!
I'm so happy that we were able to work together on a solution.
Thank you both for taking the time out of their schedule to make not 1 test drive, but 2, on the original & helping me get into a much higher rated, safe vehicle for a really good deal! I truly appreciate the way you found a resolution & treating me with respect & kindness.
I would happily work with both of them again in the future.
