  I found it easy to get a good price quote with clearly defined pick-up and drop-off times. I was also please to be picked up at the Vinalhaven ferry terminal when I took the ferry to Rockland to pick up the car. I also liked the car, it got good mileage. I did have a minor concern about paying the toll fees on my trip from Thomaston to Boston and back over 4 days. But a quick call to the Thomaston office where they informed me that there was no EZPASS transponder in my rental if I could not find it, and that it was fine to use my personal EZPASS-MA transponder.

  Rental experience from May 29th through June 2nd went perfect! Rented a full size car was upgraded to SUV. Drove nice, great condition, great on gas. Reasonable price. The staff at the Thomaston Maine office were all very pleasant with a special shout out to the general manager Chelsea. I hope I got her name correct. She was especially kind and friendly. I'll definitely be going back!!!

  I rented a truck for a day. I brought it back 4 hours early. They call an hour later and charge me for fuel. $7 a gallon for 12 gallons. I said nobody told me that when I rented it and of course they said they did go over it. Like I wanted to pay $7 a gallon when a fuel station is right across the street. They called to tell me the charges but could have given me the opportunity to come back and put fuel in myself at $3 less a gallon, since technically the truck was still mine for 3 more hours. They were quite rude about it as well.
