  Suprisingly we had a great experience here. It was seriously as easy as CarMax. Inquired by email about a used Sheehy Select truck, and it was a positive experience at every turn. We communicated via text (my preference) with Amer and he was very professional and replied quickly but thoroughly to all our questions. None of the back and forth "let me talk to my manager" shenanigans. We made an agreeable deal that was very acceptable. When we showed up, there was no bait and switch or hidden/added fees, the OTD price was actually about $150 less than.we agreed. The truck looked exactly as pictured and described. It was suprisingly clean inside and out. All records/Carfax matched up. Amer was quick and efficient with paperwork. Finance lady was very professional, even though we declined the extended warranty, etc. Finance terms were less than 0.5% apart from Navy Fed, so very competitive. Parking lot was clean and right off the highway. Inside was very clean. Coffee in the waiting area was excellent. I have bought cars 2x in my history from Waldorf (we live 2 hrs away in VA) and both experiences were perfect (the other was a Dodge w/ warranty). Highly recommend this Sheehy Waldorf Nissan location and Amer specifically. We are loving the truck.

  This is why I will never again own a Nissan! Should have remembered the first one I bought brand spanking new and had to replace the engine soon after back in 97. I bought my son the same car, 2023. It sat for months at this shop with a busted engine. Nothing has changed over the years. When he finally got it back, it was leaking fuel profusely! Took it back, then it came out with the horn not working! Made an appointment to have them fix the problem they created, got there and they said we have other vehicles in front of you. Tell me, what's the purpose of making an appointment then? Also put in a request for a loaner, "yes sir, I'll note it!", no loaner available. Just sad 😔. Never again. Business lost.

  This was a service connected with a VA sister store. I made the apt for our MD safety inspection and dropped off the car. Our apt was for 7:45 am, when I called at 12:30 pm I was informed “they didn’t even know that’s what the car was there for” and that I’d have to pay for the inspection (they clearly did not look up the car in the system to get any background). After the inspection, they found an issue and it took over 2 weeks to repair. The part kept “just arriving” and then somehow or another it was delayed. Every time I got an update it was because I was pro-active to call and ask. They never called me first to let me know what was going on. BUYER BEWARE

  I recently had a fantastic experience at Nissan Sheehy in Waldorf, and I have to give a huge shoutout to my salesman, David McNeil. From beginning to end, he did an outstanding job. He really took the time to listen to what I wanted and helped turn my vision into reality. David made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process and never gave me any doubt that he wouldn’t be able to work out a great deal. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and made sure to explain everything about my new car in a way that was easy to understand. He truly made my car-buying experience worth it and I absolutely love my new 2026 SUV!   My experience with Sheehy Nissan of Waldorf during a recent vehicle recall was beyond frustrating. I had an Appointment scheduled for 9:20. I arrived on time. From start I was given a 3 to 4 hour wait time which I understood. After four had passed I went to ask someone about the status of my car. The lack of communication was unacceptable. I had to repeatedly ask different people just to get basic updates, and even then, no one seemed to have clear answers. Someone finally came to speak with me about the status of the car. He tells me that the technician had just started to look at it. At this time it was 1:30pm. At this point I asked to speak with the manager. The wait time was completely unreasonable. What should have been a straightforward recall repair turned into a drawn-out process with no transparency on timelines. I was left without my vehicle far longer than expected, with zero proactive updates from the dealership. Customer service felt disorganized and indifferent, as if my time and situation didn’t matter. For something as important as a recall which is about safety you’d expect urgency and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. I would not recommend this dealership based on this experience alone. If you value communication, efficiency, and respect for your time, you may want to look elsewhere.
