I did not receive any photos or videos showing the alleged issues with my vehicle. The only information I was provided was an initial recommendation to replace a part.
When I spoke with a representative after my vehicle had been at the shop for approximately a day and a half, he attempted to explain how the vehicle's computer systems work. However, I work in IT and have experience with troubleshooting and diagnostics. While I did discuss the vehicle with someone from the shop, I was never provided with any photos, videos, or other documentation demonstrating the reported errors or mechanical issues.
I called multiple times, and on several occasions staff members stated that photos or videos of the problem would be sent to me. However, I never received any such evidence. Based on my conversations, it appeared that no physical inspection beyond connecting a diagnostic computer was performed, and the recommendation was made solely from what the computer reported rather than from a thorough inspection under the hood.
Additionally, the vehicle is registered under another person's name.
