  It pains me to write this, but I have been a loyal Herb Gordon Subaru customer for maybe 14 years. Staff there are generally pleasant. However, after this recent experience, I would not use them again. My car had a terrible odor, a result no doubt of an animal that decided to make my car's engine its home. I mean it was quite obvious what happened, and the source of the odor was clearly not the inside on the vehicle. I took the car to Herb Gordon. They recommended replacing the carpeting (cost: $2900). When I told them that this work would not identify nor remove the SOURCE of the odor (this is not rocket science), their response was an added charge of 700 dollars to go into the engine to potentially identify the source of the odor. I'll also add that their explanation for the odor (and removal of the carpet in the vehicle) was nonsensical, almost insulting in being boldly false. When I took my car to a different auto shop, their efforts were more thorough and reasonable and focused on identifying the source of the odor, removing it, cleaning all contaminated parts, and washing, treating and deodorising the carpet. I no longer have confidence in, nor will I ever trust Herb Gordon Subaru with my vehicle again.

  The best dealer. Very smooth purchasing experiences (we bought 4 cars from them) and great service department. It’s not the closest from my location but the dealer experience overwhelmingly compensates the extra trip time.

  I have been bringing both me and my wifes car to herb gordon because they are simply awesome and care about their customers concerns. Thank you Vitaly for helping me out with getting one of my front axle assemblies replaced. Great professionalism and great service technicians.

  I have had several bad experiences with car repairs at dealerships but Herb Gordon Subaru was the exception to the rule. We had to have a plate installed on the bottom of our Outback - Terrell was AMAZING! Helpful, responsive, and took the time to really explain everything. The whole experience was great - easy scheduling, helpful polite service - and did I mention Terrell? :) All-around a great seamless and positive experience. Thank you!
