    I had a great conversation with Ron, the Service Manager as a result of a previous negative review. He was patient and thorough in addressing my concerns with my tires, which is all I really needed. He addressed some inaccurate information that I received from Goodyear and reassured me enough that I scheduled an appointment for service. A little kindness and empathy goes a long way in the service industry and he came fully loaded with both. Thanks for taking the time to reach out to me and my closest service center.

    Jacob was phenomenal! Although not my first BMW, this was my first time buying a car at a dealership. I didn’t feel pressured to buy ( I already knew I was going to get the car 🤭). He made sure that I understood everything before signing and he even drove the car to my house because I came in a rental. I think it’s standard but I was gifted two key rings and two pens( that I totally lost 🥴). I will definitely go back to Mr. Jay to get my 430, and I’ve already recommended him to others. The finance guy, whose name escapes me, was also great. He found me a better interest rate than my bank. I was able to finance the entire purchase of the car and my warranties. Thank you BMW OF SILVER SPRING for making my first car buying experience enjoyable. I’ll be sending an Edible Arrangement.

    I recently purchased my BMW 430i from BMW Silver Spring and I couldn’t be more pleased about the entire process. My car client advisor was David Davila. From the start he was responsive, patient, timely and thorough with his answers to my many questions. No pressure or no rush at all. He literally showed me all the wonderful bells and whistles my car came equipped with. I’ve never felt so informed about my car. I also worked with Brigette in finance. She was so warm and friendly, we chatted like old friends. The ladies at the front desk were so kind and helpful as well. Needless to say as long as I’m in the DMV I will continue to return to BMW Silver Spring for my car service and future car purchases. Thanks David, I’m 100% happy with my car and excellent service I received.

    The customer service of the service department is horrible. I called to let them know I would be ten minutes late for my appointment and was reassured that it would be fine. I check in with the front desk of the service department. I sat for twenty minutes before I got up to make sure I wasn’t forgotten. The woman at the front caught an attitude with me instantly saying there’s no service advisor to help me and that I’d have to reschedule for another day. As she was saying this, a service advisor came and said she’d take care of it. I wasn’t given any information on the repair (I was in for a recall) or an ETA. I sat for almost three hours for a repair I was told would take one. I got up to check to ask when I should expect for my car to get ready and she said that she called me and left a voicemail. I showed her my phone and that there were no messages or phone calls. She then said she looked for me in the waiting room (which she didn’t) and didn’t see me. I was then given a passive “sorry”. I asked to see what numbers they have on my account as I’ve had them have to take off numbers in the past and always assure me it is only my number in the system. After looking over the invoice, it shows that I declined a vehicle check which is NOT true. I would never decline that, the only thing I declined was doing a brake flush today. Overall horrible customer service, very poor communication, and no regard for customers. I had stopped coming here due to multiple encounters like this and only came in due to the recall. I will definitely not be coming back here.

    I visited BMW of Silver Spring while shopping for a BMW X5 50e. They had a well-equipped vehicle that fit exactly what I was looking for, and the test drive went well. Initially, the sales manager presented what seemed like a decent offer, so I decided to move forward with a credit application to receive real financing numbers. Like any buyer making a major purchase, I also wanted to compare pricing with other dealerships before making a final decision. The next day, I received a call confirming permission to run my credit. While my credit is not perfect, it is far from bad. The payment estimate came back higher than I expected, so I politely expressed that the payment seemed too high and asked what APR was being used. Instead of receiving a clear answer, I got the following response from the salesperson: “If that’s already too high of a payment then the X5 50e is not the right car for you, sir.” I found that response unprofessional and unnecessary. It is not a salesperson’s role to decide what vehicle is “right” for a customer based on one conversation about payment. Customers shop around, negotiate, ask questions, and compare financing options — that’s completely normal when making a purchase of this size. Ironically, I ended up purchasing the exact BMW X5 50e I wanted from BMW of Rockville — a direct competitor — with a significantly better deal, better service, and an overall much better buying experience. At the end of the day, dealerships are not just selling cars — they are selling customer service and the overall experience. Unfortunately, BMW of Silver Spring missed the mark for me. If respectful communication and professionalism matter to you, keep this experience in mind when choosing where to shop.
