  A neighbor recommended the new Advance Auto Parts on Prosperity Dr in Silver Spring Maryland and I was very impressed with this particular store. I needed a battery for my 2019 automobile. I'm retired, so it has less than 30k miles. I normally take it to the dealership for regular maintenance but after receiving dealer's quote of over $500 for parts/labor for the battery, I looked for other options. I was very impressed with Advance Auto Parts' website. It was easy to navigate and user- friendly. I called customer service to confirm what I read on the website, that if I purchased the battery online, they would install it for free at the store. Customer Service was very pleasant & helpful & seemed very familiar with their policies. Fast forward to my experience, the store confirmed what she said. It took no time to see the different options for my car & purchase the battery online. I drove to the Prosperity Dr location, parked in front of the store, & in less than 30 minutes my battery was installed and I was on my way home. There was no need to make a reservation. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. While waiting, I requested a chair due to mobility issues & they were very accommodating. I understand they had a fantastic grand opening. I hope they continue with the fantastic service I received. I shared my experience with residents in my senior apartment building. I wish this new location great success! Always remember, treat people like you want to be treated, with fairness & sincerity.

  Massa the general manager very rude and disrespectful came in there to warranty a battery I bought a week ago that died and she refused to warranty my battery after they fast charged the battery and slow charged it. It is was not holding charge and I even talked to the employee on the phone he said on the phone that the battery isn’t holding charge absolutely terrible customer service they scanned the battery and it says recharge battery when the battery is clearly dead 2 days it was on charge absolutely unprofessional

  Irving is the best! He made my visit to the store a breeze. I got what I needed and it was all because he was so patient, knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. If every rep was like Irving, the guy told would be a better place. Thank you, Irving!!!
