  WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I called to get my van looked at and they transferred me 3 times just for the "lead tech advisor" to put me on hold for almost 20 minutes! I hung up and called back just for a woman to tell me no one is even at they're desk!!! So this man put me on hold just to leave beyond ridiculous man. This isn't the first time we have had issues with this man either. But it's okay kia in Shelbyville answered right away and got us taken care of! If I could give a negative star I would

  Troy in service department was awesome! Very friendly, got me in and out and I know I can trust these guys with my car. Salisbury Pohanka (Kia to be exact) has very high energy in their building. Their employees were chosen by somebody who really has a good sense of reading people. Everybody looks and acts like they love their job. They go above and beyond for their customers each and every time! I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with Justin in sales (who put me in a brand new vehicle) & Troy in service (who was just A+ the minute I walked in the door) & they are so professional, they take their job serious & they’re 2 names & faces I just won’t forget!   I had a wonderful experience purchasing my vehicle at Pohanka Kia of Salisbury, and a large part of that was thanks to Sharmane. From the very beginning, she was incredibly easy to work with, attentive, and genuinely listened to what I was looking for. She took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and never made me feel rushed or pressured throughout the process. What stood out most was her patience and communication. Even when I had multiple questions or needed clarification, Sharmane remained calm, professional, and transparent every step of the way. She made sure I understood everything and helped make what can often be a stressful experience feel smooth and comfortable. The atmosphere at Pohanka was also exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the staff and appreciated as a customer. Everyone was friendly and professional, creating an environment that was both inviting and enjoyable. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience and would highly recommend both Pohanka Kia of Salisbury and Sharmane to anyone looking for a vehicle.   I suggest people read reviews BEFORE doing business. I drove about an hour to Pohanka Kia, even tho there is a Kia dealer about 5 minutes from my house, because the Kia dealer near me has NO good service reviews, and Pohanka Does. I saw the service department at Pohanka, and it had satisfied customers waiting in a pleasant area with a TV and free coffee. While Kias are good cars, nothing is perfect (except my wife) and I won't give business to a place that won't take care of me after a sale. The sales experience with Mya Smith was pleasant and I wasn't subjected to 'games'. The actual paperwork/contract portion could have been less grueling, but I survived. I was not 'low balled' on my trade-in. There's an old saying that everyone likes HAVING a new car, but people hate the process of BUYING a new car. I had a complaint about not getting a copy of a service contract, but that was resolved. I'm an old fart, 79 now, and not easily pleased, so me being happy speaks volumes about Pohanka.
