- RWRandall W.6 days ago5.0Scheduled appointment for 3pm, as I had other appointments in the morning. Safelight contacted me by text to say that they could do my work earlier. This worked out Great, as I had just finished my other chores. Safelight was between me and home ,so it saved me travel time and mileage. The work was completed within an acceptable amount of time with excellent results. I am attributing the delays on extreme heat (100°F plus heat index), which had to be uncomfortable with only fans to try to ease the heat.

When I picked up my vehicle, there were pieces from the door that had not been reinstalled, rather they were just left in my cup holder, so then I had to figure out where the pieces go. In addition, unfortunately, they did not clean out all of the glass in my door panel and I continue to hear it moving around. When i contacted them, they initially blamed it being due to mobile vacuums not being as strong as the vacuums in the shop, except my vehicle was serviced IN THE SHOP! After that I was informed that I can use my warranty to have them ATTEMPT to remove the remaining glass but if they still can’t get it all, I have to reach out to a detailing company and pay additional fees to get the glass removed. I’m a little confused because their specialty is glass repair / replacement but they don’t have the tools to properly remove all the glass shards??
