In late May I brought in my fuel tank to have it modified – they needed to (1) move the location of the fuel pump (with some internal baffle cutting as well), (2) patch / weld / paint the original hole, (3) extend the fuel pump wiring and (4) make sure the fuel sender would work with the new pump location. I removed the tank from my car and dropped it off for the work, being told it would take a few days and "wouldn't be too much" (my mistake here -- I should've requested a written estimate). A little over 2 weeks later I called and told them I’d like to pick it up -- I was told it would be ready that afternoon. When I picked it up, I was shocked that they said it took them 16+ hours of labor. I literally thought he was kidding with me until I saw the bill was $1800. I assure you, this was a 3-4 hours worth of work - a $1000 bill would’ve been too much. After paying but before picking up the tank I noticed that the fuel sender was disassembled and cut – they saw it too and agreed to pay for a replacement. I got home and found that the fuel pump wiring was in disassembly and there was a TON of metal shavings in the bottom of the tank. Absolutely nothing was acceptable except the patch and paint job. Now to be clear I am not blaming the fabricator – it’s pretty clear he was not done. Can’t imagine what the bill would’ve been if he’d finished! To add insult to injury, I was never paid for the fuel sender so add that $300 bill to my total cost. So I am now at $2100 to have some minor modifications to a gas tank -- and had to fix nearly every part they touched. Given that they handed me a highly unfinished product, at a questionably high cost, I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

Great team of muscle car and classic car enthusiasts who just happen to be MASTER CRAFTSMEN! Can't say enough about Mario, Shawn, Darrel, Justin, Kirk, Al, Josh, Kylie, Chris, and Mr. Tommy! The entire team are professional, open, transparent, and explain the situation and discuss the next steps - not only did BCM do my '65 Mustang about 8 years ago, I was so impressed and satisfied that BCM just completed a LS-swap for my '69 Camaro. As they say, a picture is worth a 1000 words, so here are some pics of my '69 Camaro - let Bruno's Classic Muscle build and bring your dream car to the streets!
