The staff at the Prince Frederick, MD safelite shop are amazing. They were kind, courteous and knowledgeable. They did excellent work and the repair was done fast. There was an error from my insurance company and they handled it without me having to do anything. No stress at all. The customer service I received was amazing and I recommend this shop to anyone needing auto glass repair.
Prince frederick team are go above and beyond. I will only use them from now on. They had me in out in less time than I thought. 10 +++

I used to have respect and appreciation for Safelite until my most recent experience. During a windshield replacement service, both my interior visor and windshield wiper blade were damaged. I scheduled a warranty appointment and when I took the vehicle in for that appointment, the technician stated pics were taken of the visor for escalation & review, and that he had repaired the wiper. I noticed that the wiper had not been fixed and immediately pointed it out to the technician who said he thought it was the other wiper. He said he took a photo of that for escalation as well and that someone would contact me in a couple of days regarding next steps. No one contacted me. I waited approximately a week and called customer care again and learned that notes had been added to the warranty report that were untrue and I would've never known unless I called. The customer care rep that I spoke with was pleasant and informative. She escalated the issue and stated I'd receive a call within 24-48 hours. No one has contacted me. I sent an official dispute via email requesting a response and copies of all relative documents. I've not received anything and no one from Safelite has contacted me. I've now reached out to my insurance company and the consumer protection division for assistance. I will NOT recommend Safelite for glass replacement services.

I’m very disappointed with my experience at this location. Doug installed windshield wipers that were too large for my car. One blade’s tip caught against the side of the car before completing its sweep, and the other is too short and shook at the bottom. They made a very loud noise when I used them in the rain, which raised concerns about damage to the wiper motor because the effort the wiper was making to get unstuck causing concern for my safety in the rain.
I discovered the problem while traveling to visit my dad shortly after, multiple hours away from the shop, as I will be out of town for a week and need it urgently, so I can get home safely. (I was able to get help at a auto store and find the right size and get them installed by them on my way there). The location is already almost an hour from my home, so returning for a warranty appointment to correct an installation mistake like this is extremely inconvenient.
The local office was no help, so I contacted customer service. Thankfully, the representative was super kind and understanding, listened and issued a refund so I could purchase the correct blades.
If the correct size wasn’t available, I would have appreciated being told before anything was installed or my card was charged. Because he installed them and left without telling me they were too big. Instead, I have to spend part of my trip resolving a problem that should have been avoided by verifying the proper fit. And he didn't test them before he left because I asked if he needed my keys and he said no.
I’m attaching photos showing how the installed blades fit compared with the correct size photo. I appreciate customer service resolving the refund, but the installation and common sense that they were too big from the get go is crazy to me. And I know they're going to respond to this that typical warranty policy you have to come in the shop and we offered (but I made it very clear I was going out of town for a week in a place where it was immediate need and don't have time to do it on my vacation and not close and convenient where I was going) and they didn't offer me a refund when I asked him about it is silly and told him I was out of town for a week—Doug knew they were obviously too big. I do not have time to go out and have them fix a mistake he made and knew it was from the start and didn't care to tell me till I found out.

about a year ago a branch fell on my windshield and completely destroyed it. they told me they couldn’t come out to replace it, so we drove the car up with glass falling out on us. only for them to be condescending, the next day I found my car posted on his personal facebook because it was such an inconvenience… some asian dude with no swag
