First let me say I’ve gone to Mr. Tire for years. I recently went to the Mr. Tire Joppa Road on April 21 due to a flat tire. I have never gone to this location but I had my car towed to this location as it was closet. Upon arrival I was checked in and told that I needed all tires replaced not just the flat and if I didn’t replace them all they would explode on me and ruin my transmission. I declined to get all of the tires replaced due to price and the site didn’t have 4 tires to replace it with but agreed to have 2 tires replaced. Once the tires were replaced and I paid I noticed the tire pressure light was still on and I told the representative at the service desk. He advised me that it would clear once I drove around a bit. I drove for at least 15 miles and turned my car on and off and the light was still on. I called and spoke to the same representative and he advised that I would need to come back so they could reset it. I went back right before they closed at 7 and the same representative checked the tire and went into my car and looked at the tire indicator. He tells me that my sensor in the tire probably needs to be replaced and I would need to come back again to have it replaced for $130. I asked why was this not discovered when the technician inspected and replaced the old tire. I was told that it wasn’t their procedure to look at the tire sensor. Part of the service I paid for was inspection. Why would you send a customer on their way without checking the whole tire situation? And why would you inconvenience the customer to have to continue to come back to get things fix that your service center should have caught?

AVOID AT ALL COSTS--it could be your whole car. I came in for a new tire and an oil change in August of 2024. My spare was not returned to me after the work was complete and I had to return the next day to ask for someone to look for it. The bolt at the bottom of my oil pan was only hand-tightened as well--it fell out a few weeks later and all of the oil drained out of my engine. I'm so lucky that it didn't destroy my engine, but it's now 4/2026 and I have yet to be reimbursed for the cost of towing and getting my engine examined. The store manager mis-filed my complaint 3 or 4 times before giving me the corporate number, who have given me nothing but the run-around since. No accountability, no transparency, no follow-through--most of my friends now refuse to get their oil changed by a shop at all.

Very limited supply. Options only included a tire that was too cheap to match my others so I had to go up to a way too expensive tire. I had an appointment but still had to wait almost 1.5 hours just for them to bring the car back. Car smelled like someone smoked a cigarette in it when I got in. Also, for services like these I’ve always had the shop check my other tires and match the pressures as a basic courtesy. They did not.
